Actually, pops, it does make sense. Much of our economy is international, affecting many other countries. Recall the panic abroad when our own stock market took a dump.

We dont live in a vaccumm here. Our economy is tied closely to the emotions of the public. If they feel secure in the political atmosphere, they spend. if they dont, they get tight. Insisting that Obama is a muslim can affect his ability to lead in many peoples' minds.
