I found this site most interesting. Below is just one of the things that caught my eye.
I tend to stay up really late and search for what ever strikes my fancy. I know I have a bad habit but...inquiring minds want to know.

The website you linked to is pretty crap from what I can tell. There are far better website analysis sites out there.
Anyway, hard to believe Milwaukee is so high on the list. Isn't it a really tiny city?
How is that list ordered, anyway? Looks really messy and incomplete.

The US is the main country.  I can agree with that.  But Canada is #2 clearly based on my experiences, while they claim it's #6.

The name of the site makes me think that the statistics reflect where the servers are based that users use, not where the users themselves are.

Edited to add:  Note that the article also claims that the cm servers are fast...

I am starting to think who the hell cares ? You read my words and I read your's.

And what, about the web stats ? You mean we are not ATT or AOL ? The hell you say !

And more, go back to the page where you select the forum, go to the bottom. There are almost always more guests than members. Any time of day, any day. If you get that in your head you realize why you don't quite understand how the rules are applied here. Anyone, and I mean ANYONE can read every word we wrote for a very long time.

The growth of this website is about par, due to the inclusion of only a part of the populace. And remember this inclusion only includes those brave enough. Why do we have so many guests who are not members ? Don't they have anything to say ? Come on, that would be ridiculous, opinions are like assholes, everybody has one.

Some of them won't or can't come out into the light. Their circle of people may be too strait laced for that. I go for the grey area. In RL I would say "Hey, slap and tickle, maybe handcuffs, but no flamethrowers or anything like that". Breaks the ice on the subject but doesn't shove it down their throat. [that comes later LOL]

Regardless of what that article said, I think this is still among the largest BDSM communities on the net, if not the largest. People are afraid, just like homosexuals were for years. That must have sucked.

One of THE reasons people were afraid is that homosexuality was listed in the DSM-III.  <Diagnostic Statistical Manual = THE bible of the psychiatric profession.>  The use of DSM-III in medical and legal circumstances was most grevious.>  BDSMers are still listed in DSM-IV TR as mentally ill <well, not exactly since TR = "text revision.">  Y'all bless the name of Charles Moser when you say your prayers.  He was instrumental in getting ALL the paraphilias removed from the soon to come DSM-V.  Until that happens, ALL BDSMers need to be careful.

Bleah!  Since I last looked, it's been pushed back again!!! ARRrrgghh!  A full year.

Will DSM 4 get me disability ? Maybe I should come out of the closet LOL.

But does anyone even know what is upcoming here ? It might be worse for all we know ! If I live I think I will write a dissertation on the subject and make it public, name and everything. You only live once.

To analyse it is one thing, to express it is another. When you top, it is a postion of superiority, and for normal people to understand it's like a damsel in distress thing. When bottoming, no matter who you are, once you get chained down you have no responsibilities. I should be able to appeal to the vanillas in that manner. We know there is more to it, but we can't just shove the whole thing down their throat at once.

A more modest approach to the subject, something I may be able to provide might do quite well. It might even do better to empower others who have the kink urge but lie there unsatisfied because they are afraid. And what I say doesn't make it any righter than it was made wrong at it's inception, which was probably a long time ago. And was it ever wrong ?

When it comes to shit I believe, I can be a real MF. In the Constitution of this country it says I have the right to persue happiness. I can use that, as long as I don't violate the rights of another. If all acts are consentual I have not done that. Therefore they can't touch me. As I have explained though, I would have to embarrass the court into following the Law, but I'm pretty sure I can do that. We are doing nothing wrong, in fact even my criminal ass isn't operational anymore.

If I live, I am going to work on that. Get those closet kinsters out there with us. They can remain anonymous for now. But we are doing nothing wrong. The homosexuals gained acceptance and so shall we. I am not taking no for a fucking answer. We don't hurt anyone, most of us try to help people. I know I have and sometimes got fucked. But so be it.
