Alongside some of my sent messages is a symbol of a small person or similar. Right between the envelope and the check box - anyone know what it means?

Really? If so how do I accept that then and why isn't it visible in friends?

Its this symbol - http://www.collarme.com/images/im_offline.gif - so I'm guessing that maybe its got something to do with them being offline, but its not just now - maybe it dies it when the person is offline when you send the message or something.
