I gotta big bad crush on somebody who will be visiting me next month! He makes my heart quicken and leaves me breathless, I'm so excited I can hardly contain myself. I hope I'm pretty enough and good enough. I'm going to be SO good! AND so bad! I'm very excited!

hlen I know you're right, I just get so excited! But I think it's the real deal this time. He's calling me a lot and I guess I won't really know for sure til I've seen him in person, but I'm VERY excited. He tells me about his home and his farm and he's so smart, too! AND politically active! AND a liberal! AND he's tall, AND he's tough! AND his voice is sexy! AND so is his face and I can't wait to meet him in person. He'll be here in a few weeks.

Hon, even if it doesn't work out, you cannot go into it waiting for the other shoe to drop. As a elderly neighbor used to say to us when we were kids "straighten up and fly right and create your own rainbows !" I had no idea what that meant at the time.....when I was like 12 she told me, many things work out so much better if you only believe in yourself and that they will. She was a bit off...she had 27 cats when she died (not kidding)...but I love that phrase now! (yeah, yeah...I know...but I only have one cat!)
