hello... Stone here. i'm new to the forums but not necessarily new to the site. first, i want to say that this is a really awesome place to make new friends, get involved in discussions, and in general to learn.

i've gotten a LOT of messages lately from 'subs' who wish me to collar them RIGHT NOW! the majority of these have been scams and have been dealt with accordingly: block then ignore them. i might suggest (with the permission of the moderators) that you should not jump off the deep end and just take the sub 'sight unseen.' also, they always want you to go to their yahoo accounts and chat with them there... also not a good idea unless youre pretty sure of who youre talking to in the first place. that being said, there are red flags but that you have to just pretty much leave to your own abilities to discern. pay attention, use common sense, and youll be fine.

i'm sort of a laidback guy, more on the milder side of the lifestyle, and i've been in it for over 25 years... i'm still learning (well, at least i try.) my philosophy is simply this: a Dom(me) et al should have a lot of respect for his/her sub/slave cuz we put them thru hell for the most part. while our sub may claim we own them, or we may make that claim, we really don't and i say this directed to the newbie dom(mes) who feel as tho they can troll around, pick out a slave to do their bidding and housework, etc... without realizing that the person doing the serving is actually a real, live, human being. everyone has their preferences and i'm not one to say who's wrong/right... just offering a perspective here.

anyway... now that i've found the forums i'll undoubtedly be back. stop by my profile and drop me a line sometime! call me Stone.

You are preaching to the choir. Somebody at least once a week comes to tell us all this. We don't need instruction on how to use the site or beware of bad guys. Really... stand down. Join in... have fun, but educating us is not taken well.

Welcome

What Lockit said, doubled. Most of us have figured out the scammers, it's not a new subject here. Just use the search engine in the top right hand corner and you'll see what we mean. Good luck in your search.
