How about the "not so positive" experiences?

juliaoceania -> RE: Not So Positive? (8/7/2010 6:55:15 PM)

Those are not allowed here to protect the innocent as well as the guilty

Who needs that sort of negativity anyhow[8|]

You could read the section guidelines. They are helpful in that regard.

http://www.collarchat.com/m_28350/tm.htm

For example:

"As the description for this section states, this is a forum for members to post about their positive experiences with meeting other Collarme.com members IN PERSON, in a non-professional setting.

Criticism of other users is not permitted. Only members who have met other members from this site in person should post here."

And:

"This is NOT the place to make accusations about other members since we have no way of knowing whether what is posted is true or not. That isn't a judgment call on any given person since a certain situation could all be true and posted with the best of intentions, but then again, it could be posted with intentions of slander or spite. We have no real way of knowing."

Everyone kisses some frogs.  shrug

When my gallbladder went bad, that definately was not so positive.

The time I went to get in the shower and stepped in puke was not so positive either.  Although, the kid did make a great choice doing it there rather than the floor, a warning woulda been nice.

Then there was this one summer at bandcamp...

Ewwww!

(Although I have to admit, the time I picked up the manager's cat and it shat down the front of me was not so positive either.)

People talk about negative experinces all the time, what you're thinking of, is black listing, and that's different than talking about negative experinces you have had, if you don't list names and contact information.

And I actually like hearing about some of the shit gone wrong people go through, if it's amusing, and not god awful

My "not so positive" experiences have all been positive in the sense that they were all part of the learning process. For example, I've learned what I will and won't put up with ever again, what I do and don't need, when I could have made better choices and why, etc etc.

Holly? What is the longest stretch of time you have gone without a broken bone or bruise?
