Having spent a lifetime quietly smirking at the outlandish things some people wear, I was once stuck in a Marriot hotel in Minneapolis for a week-end and during my stay there was a manga convention. After smirking for a bit, it gradually dawned on me that some of those chicks were hawt hawt hawt. Now the mere mention of "manga" gets me going.

I've been watching the Steampunk scene for a while now, and I really enjoy the creative use of Victorian period and tech - those cutaways skrts, vests, leather and lace.. Nom Nom, I will totally Dom.. Dressed from heels to hat, add a flogger to that. with lace fingerless gloves to better torment the sl oves. it almost rhymed.

He was intent on "seizing my maidenhood by love or force!" I couldn't stop laughing. It was awesome.

I have NOTHING against anyone's personal fetish. That being said, I find much of the traditional leather gear funny and anything skin-tight unflattering on 99% of the population. Whenever I've attended fetish locations and events I seem to develop a strange cough which I use to cover irrepressable laughter. Of course, I suppose I'm a little odd in that I'm 0% voyuer, which means even other people doing things I enjoy is just asexual and often kind of amusing for me to watch in person. I really had to surpress a giggle at particularly bouncy public display of ass-slapping, though I'm sure my behind would not be much different in the same situation! [:D]

Agreed MercTech, and I did get quite a bit of experience with even the soft suede set.. a friend gifted Me with an extremely usefull little lanyard flogger that is always with My car keys. I'm here to say that when surprised by mugger while getting into My car, a slash of the knotted ends in his face was forcefull enough to allow Me to leave. It's a four tail, I'm looking for a pair of 5 and just a tad bit larger for beautiful marking play time toys.
