Thanks for all of the good comments in this thread. I am currently confused and frustrated today so I want to complain, rant, and rave in general! I have been on Collarme.com since early May with my profile. I have tried to describe myself and what I want honestly and sincerely. Anyway, the first man that I was interested in had a submissive profile posted. He contacted me with that profile. I was interested in him and attracted to him. However, after meeting and extensive discussion, he said he also had a dominant profile posted, which I read. The submissive profile and dominant profile sounded like two different people. So, after more discussion, we decided that we were not the one that each was searching for. Now, I met a second submissive about two weeks ago after some conversation. He seemed very nice. We had a second and third meeting this week, for a movie and a trip to a scenic attraction. I asked him if he had any other profiles on Collarme.com, since I had this previous experience. Guess what, he also has a dominant profile! The descriptions sound so different! This person did say that he had topped in the past in relationships, but has also bottomed and submitted. He claims about 20 years of lifestyle experience. I am confused by this—is this the behavior of a switch who does not want to call themselves that, or is it an attempt to be deceptive, to cast a wider net to find anyone to interact with, or possibly just a confused person? Should not someone with extensive lifestyle experience know what makes him feel sexually excited? I not giving up my search for the right submissive and relationship, but it is definitely hard work sorting out who is sincere and who is not, and somewhat discouraging!! Thank you for the forum and opportunity to express my opinion!

Anemone3, I know some switches will have two different profiles. When actively searching when you choose switch your orientation many exclude you from search criteria for someone that likes both sides of the paddle. I wouldnt automatically assume they are trying to be deceptive...offtimes switch may lean more to one side than the other. You mentioned you have met the last person....talk to them about it and why it bothers you. You may or maynot decide this person is compatible...but hey a few questions never hurt. Hope I made sense LOL I have a bad case of being brain fried today. edited to add. Crap that didnt come out like my brain meant.....hopefully someone will figure out what I was trying to say and makes more sense.

HMMMM I dont get why they wouldnt pick one profile and put switch its not like that option isnt here I dont know someone with 2 totaly dfferent profile would seem to me as dishonest

From reading upstairs about it.....ya just get more hits. Its a number thing. When you list as a switch you dont show up in alot of seaches. Personally I list as a switch cuz it was the closest I could get, and not actively looking so it doesnt bother me one whit. I agree with you about it being seen as dishonest, unless you let the other person know about the alternatate profile explain it was done because of the whole switch thing.
