What a beautiful piece! You have such an artistic eye. Okay, I'll have my son the computer genius upload and attache the items I mentioned when he get's home .Maybe I'm not stupid but I'm surely out of touch technically speaking. Thank you for the lesson. (smile)

What internet medium are you using?  That should show up on either IE of Mozilla Firefox, though I do realize that some internet media (are there others?) show things like this differently.

I also nabbed this statue at the same estate sale for free. I keep it in my main foyer because it creeps my sons out. They are convinced it is haunted.

The mirror was in my friends basement, covered in dust and cobwebs. She gave it to me, because I wouldn't shut up about it. Or because she loves me, and I loved the mirror... either or.
I have something like 14 foot ceilings, so the mirror is much larger than it appears in the photo.

the Buddha statue, my boys and I found while walking in the woods. I like the way he looks, dents and chips and all. He usually sits in my hall, welcoming everyone as they walk in the door.

Hmmm...do you think if I hang out at a dumpster long enough I'll be found?...or just arrested?

I also picked up this dresser and a solid wood desk for free at that estate sale. I like free. I can usually afford free.

WinD, those are really nice things!  Thank you so much for putting up those pictures.  Your home looks really lovely!  I really like the statues and your dog looks like that Virgin Mary statue might be haunted, too.  But the Buddha, wow, in the woods?  That had to be some sort of sign or good omen or something.  That was really cool and he definitely looked happy to be in your house!

I don't want you to worry, though, I didn't have to actually dig anything out of the dumpster, all items were either sitting on the curb next to the person's trash cans on trash day or they were set next to the dumpster, so I didn't actually have to physically throw myself into a dumpster.

I also found this antique dresser next to a dumpster over in Lakewood:

ETA:  I also made the sculpture on the wall hanging between the photograph and the print.  And the little dish on the far left side of the dresser.

I used to have a dresser exactly like that but white!

Here is a wooden desk I picked up for free that was going to be thrown away. I bought new knobs for it at the hardware store. I almost didn't post the picture, because of the mess around it, but pfft..what the heck.

I found this in the dumpster...

I've always said that a hard man is good to find...or...um...something like that.

There's a mess?  That desk looks very nice, though, thanks!

I need to do something about the handles on my dresser, but they're antiques and I don't really want to just toss them.

I found these guys somewhere, though I can't remember where, but I found them just like this and I just like them that way, so I never fixed them.  I love the look on the little girl's head!  She looks so scared!
