Problem being ponderance, and self examination of their behavior, isn't their strong suit. Wilburrr's posts look like he's banging his fists on the desk and spitting foam at the screen. It's getting kinda sad. If he was a dog you'd say "yeah, rabies" and put him down. The other guys, well, who cares. Sanity's easy to slap around but he's a lightweight.
 
It's a circular process at best. Eventully their value becomes as vehicles to poke fun at because the issue has ceased to matter. The issue doesn't matter because the same lines come out whether you're talking about cake recipes or the moon landing. It's just an agenda, and a fanatic having an agenda is a tiresome thing, as the facechair grunt exempliflies. You notice they are rarely if ever, posting outside Politics, so I'm not sure why this site is their chosen dumping ground over others. Kind of invalidates them in my eyes. Gotta wonder if they ever find time to BE the D's or subs or facechairs or whatever they claim to be. My guess is it's ambition more than reality.
 
FWIW, I know some left leaning thinkers are stuck on repeat too. It's a reaction to an environment where point scoring takes precedence over thoughtful debate, although I don't know how you acually 'win' in here. I've done it too, because eventually it becomes the language of the debate. Rinse and repeat. I just wonder if you'd ever get the same admission from them.
 
People will eventually tire of it and drop out. For people who have BDSM in their life because it is in their nature, or because it is enjoyable and exciting, this aspect of the site has become really boring and negative to the point of redundancy.
 
You might not notice it day by day, but leave for a few months like I did and then come back. The difference is notable. And yet it is all so much the same.

I had this experience with a political chatroom I used to go to. I quit going,first for a couple of weeks, and then I wouldn't go back for a couple of months, and then it was a couple of years. I tried to go back about a year ago.... I won't again.

I remember one right leaning guy who made fun of the way I speak, and I just calmly got on the mic and said "You know, I have been busy, working on a graduate degree, being in a relationship, you know... having a life.... what have you been doing all this time?" He was completely silent.

This forum is somewhere I go when I am bored with the threads on other aspects of this site. I am not going to argue forever over every little point as though I am getting paid for it or something.. and yes, I have done that a time or two, and I think about that, and I say to myself "What a fucking tool you were, julia"... and I remind myself that before I reply back to anyone on this forum.... because it just isn't worth it in the larger scheme of things...

I am here to find a partner that likes kink, and I am unsure how posting here in this forum helps me achieve my aims of being on this site....

I was placed on "vacation" once for calling an asshole an asshole(this was under the previously heavy handed administration) and toyed with the idea of doing the same....in the end I decided my integrity would not allow it...it does not surprise me you had no such issues.
