Perhaps you should ask Alex Jones.

I'm pretty sure the one I do is called E-Rewards (or something close to that - I checked the email account that receives those, and I have no mail and I don't go to the site unless I have a link in email).

It doesn't pay real money (or not that I've noticed). For every $50 credit, I get a $25 GameStop gift card. Suits my piddly-ass needs.

I do paid consulting but you need a degree for that.  I also do the e-rewards.com site surveys...but it basically pays for a butt load of magazine subscriptions for us.  I've never even seen the game stop gift card.

My dad and I both signed up for stuff like this, and it turned out to be utterly crap. Most the serveys and stuff we'd take, it'd come out either we didn't quality for the demographics the servey was trying to hit, or they'd want you to sign up and pay for something.

I got accepted to Pinecone Research and it pays the most consistently at $3 per survey. I've also managed to make a little from Opinion Outpost, but it takes longer since they don't pay as much.

Right. Pinecone is the place. I don't do them though because I can make so much more talking to men about their sick twisted fantasies. *lol* (no I'm not talking about answering my c-mail. I hardly ever do that...)

The only survey I do is after I go to Panda Express I call the number from the receipt and take the short survey to get a code to get a third entree free the next time I go there...ha ha

I do them occasionally locally here.  One place is called Plaza Research and one is called Jackson and Associates.  I have done everything from tasting food to trying dryer sheets and tampons (not at the same time!) to testing shampoos.  Heck, I can't remember all the stuff I have done over the years.  The ones that last an hour or so usually pay between $50-$100.

I have done 3 "mock juries" that lasted about 8 hours and they fed ya lunch and paid ya $250.00.  It is fun to do when I am off for the summer, but when I'm working, it is damn near impossible to make it to them.

Oh, and if you want to find legit places to do paid surveys, check out SurveyPolice.com. They screen survey companies and list the ones that are scams.

Louve00 -> RE: Does anyone here do paid surveys? (7/22/2010 7:55:28 PM)

Here is a list of links of all kinds of places that do paid surveys.  Like some have mentioned, its not all its cracked up to be though.
http://workathomedesk.com/directory/online-surveys.htm

And here's a page of links that'll pay you to wrap your car in an advertisement...
http://workathomedesk.com/directory/paid-to-drive-with-ads-on-car.htm

And here are links to apply for mystery shopping...
http://workathomedesk.com/directory/mystery-shopping.htm

None of them are what I would consider real jobs, though.

In fact, you can go to http://workathomedesk.com/work-at-home-directory.htm and find all kinds of bs jobs, from blogging to posting on forums to mock jury duty, to...whatever.  There are also real jobs, that pay real paychecks on that site, too.  But you have to look.

Yes I do, I do so for a company called Survey Lion...not sure if they operate in the US, but they are legit...I have received cheques from them.

DameBruschetta -> RE: Does anyone here do paid surveys? (7/23/2010 8:48:08 PM)

I do surveys through pinecone research, they require a weekly survey full of household questons - and I get a $3 check (or paypal if you opt for that) for every survey they send. (Except for the household questions.) I've been doing it for a while. Its not a ton of money and you have to decide if its worth your time (usually 5-15 minutes each) but it slowly adds up. I had a bunch of other programs suggested to me, but the cash out rates were always so high they seemed like a joke to me. I've stuck with pinecone because as long as I qualify for a survey - I get paid. And there is no "qualifying questions." the household questions for the week are it. No survey's you qualify for that week? No mail. None of the annoying repetive questions for every survey. No bars to meet, no limits on gift cards - just money.

Pinecone isn't recruiting at the present time...they will recruit in the future through banner ads on unspecified web sites, so they don't look like a very good option

That's what they say, but don't buy it. There are a few permanent banners if you hunt around for them. That's how I got in.

splorff -> RE: Does anyone here do paid surveys? (7/25/2010 4:00:40 AM)

Why not google for "paid survey" and " take our paid survey" You can find anything at all, just use likely search words.

All my life I have suffered from a minor infrequent ailment. I knew nothing about it at all. Now in the google age, I simply searched for two words which described the symptoms ----- BANG - thousands of hits on it, seems no end of peeps have it too.

Go Google !

-- many of the surveys do not pay- more like a front to sell crap.
