Status: offline 		I recently began communicating with someone on CM that i believe to be a scammer. Unfortunately for me they have explicit photos of me on their page. They are now at this time ignoring my messages.

The reason i think this person is a scammer is because they continuously had me sign up to different cam sites for the purpose of getting to play with them on cam. After i finally got sick of being told to sign up for site after site i asked them why i was doing this. I was treated as if I was disrespecting them. When asked to provide real evidence of who they are, I then began to be ignored. The photos they were sending could have easily been stolen. I asked for a photo of them holding a piece of paper with my user handle on it.

I really don't know if they're real or not, they still use their profile. CM should have a verification process in which a user is required to send a pic of themselves with a piece of paper and so on.
CM is disappointing on so many levels I must add. People take advantage of the whole D/s thing. If you are a submissive and you come off being a regular person wanting to be friends with a Dom and basically get to know them and find out if they are who they say they are, you get black balled for it because it's not a proper way to talk to a goddess and all this bull shit. So if you're like me and put faith in a "Dom" and do as they say until you feel it's time to have them prove something such as their identity, then you're treated like shit and ignored.
So far this has been the scenario for me (3 separate occasions).

I have yet to meet someone who is real. There are a lot of "Doms" on this site who  seem to be people who are not even into BDSM and are here only to take advantage of people who will willingly give them money just to be ignored.
Literally ignored. They get off on literally being ignored... Whatever floats your boat, right ?

i have a feeling that someday, a profile will pop up and it will be someone pretending to be me using the pics i sent over the net. I'm not too upset by it, i just wish someone who is new to this such as myself could have figured out what this site is about sooner. This site reminds me of the wild west of the net. Fucking outlaws took advantage of me with ease. God damn it.

Status: offline 		and by the way, thanks to the mod who within 34 seconds of me posting this thread put it in the off topic forum. This thread has everything to do with BDSM and this site. I wish the fast acting mods of this site would be fast acting on people who are trying to scam others. This thread isn't off topic, it's some real shit. This site claims to be about the BDSM community\. Well within their BDSM community site this happens all the time, so i think it should be a part of the general discussion.

Status: offline 		because they send you pictures of themselves that seem to be real as stated in my post. Then when asked if you can view a pic of them with a sign and all that, you find out quick whats up.

man, this is why i didn't want this thread in the off topic forum, people like this talking shit.

Bottom line:

they send pics, i send pics. I ask for specific kind of pic, they ignore me.

They should post explicit photos of someone alive and hot like Jon Bon Jovi or Bruce Springsteen; that would work better.

Status: offline 		The mods are not babysitters. It's your job to use your common sense, your an adult. Take this as a lesson learned and hopefully you'll be more cautious on who you send your pictures to. You would've had a clue if you bothered to check out the threads first.

Because I've met such wonderful people.  I have great friendships from here.  There are a number of crazies but if you use some wisdom, you can avoid them.  Chalk this up as a lesson.  Learn from it.  Move on!

I've found the best people here on the message boards.  You can go on in your anger or you can go on.  This is not a bad place.  This is a group of people ... just like any other group.  Some good, some bad, some awful.  Use your brain, and you will do fine.  Choose to think with your nether regions, you will get back to this same place.

You might want to do a search on "sub frenzy".  Good luck,

Status: offline 		No i know, i learned a lesson i understand, i don't care about the few pics i sent of me. Heck, if i was with a real Dom who wanted to publicly humiliate me, i'd be down. I'm just expressing how i wish i understood sooner.

Try to deactivate the credit card that you used to sign onto the sites.

The responsibility for detecting the scammers is not on the collarme site, but on its users.  Like I said, I'm sorry that you fell for it.

The best defense against them is not to fall for them. If nobody got suckered, they'd die off.

Status: offline 		Yeah i instantly shut my card off once i was asked to sign up for the second site. I got a real bad feeling and then that's when I asked for a pic of the sign with the username and blah blah.

i'm still going to hang out on CM but be way better on how i go about talking to people. I'm not mad that this happened but i'm actually kinda sad. The other two people i met were quickly put on my ignore list without anything like explicit pics or credit cards being sent.

I'm glad you are learning from this.  Your first couple of posts were rants... And now it seems you are coming around.  Stick to the message boards a bit, and you will find that there are a goodly number of goodly people here.  And if you offer Steven cookies, you never know what will happen.
