It's looks like a nice comfy home but I have personal reservations about spending that kind of money on a home - even if I was filthy rich - and it would creep me out to live in a house where someone was murdered.

Murdered?

She committed suicide.

You get to masturbate knowing Marylin died in the room!

No. I never want to live in a home that is part of a bus tour for bored tourists. Creepy! Besides, I'm not sure I could resist the urge to place a bound and gagged naked slut on the front porch like a pervy lawn gnome, just to shock the tourists.

Via Curbed LA: The Brentwood home where Marilyn Monroe passed away is on the market for $3.6 million, having changed hands several times since that infamous day but no worse for wear. The star had purchased the home in 1962 for $90,000, and had been set to make mortgage payments at $320 a month. /snip

Nope, it is over priced, the sofas don't even match

Marylin Monroe stayed in my apartment when it was a posh hotel, before it got old and was converted into apartments... back then it had a panoramic ocean view... charlie chaplin and john wayne also liked my apartment.... top floor, etc

I can still see the ocean, and Catalina, but they built the Harbor up. It is still pretty, I can see where they load cruise ships, and I can see the harbor lit up at night, and I can see a couple of high rises... so it is pretty at night and during the day. When Marylin stayed here, there was a view of the Roller Coaster and the rest of the Pike... which was a happening place right at the time she was starting out...

Wow.

I have views of the Susquehanna River.... which faces west.      Tho the place is also on a busy street which drives me nuts.     I planted 47 trees- mainly blue spruces on my lot.   I have been getting as much watering in as possible because costs are going up for water....    I did that right- planted them when I fist moved in.. so 3 years they are filling out nicely.

2 of the spruces are taller then I am now.

I also put in 2 rock gardens.

So the place has been a proving ground for my talent.   I figured the trees would block the road noise-   the city is finally doing the river front redo- it should be nice -  maybe I can sell when that is done.  I have not even tried yet-  as it was too soon.

My place also has a nice southern exposure.   I like that.

My first apartment had a view.

2 things I look for views and off street parking.   :-)

Because of my first 25 years, I have spent most of the years since, trying to create peace and stability in my home environment, and life over all. California, and most of the people I've met that have resided there for any length of time, are not conducive to that.

Understood, you've met my relatives.  Not one has come this way yet and I am thankful for that.  I don't like the traffic the smog.  The people are ok for the most part.  Better than small town people here.  The homes.  We could hear a car drive by the house in Cali, if you were close enough to a freeway you could hear that.  Here anything could drive by and you'd never know it.  There is something to be said for good construction oh and weather..actual weather.
I could go on and on.

That is a legendary smallmouth bass river! I would love to fish it.

I might be willing to bang you if I could stay at your place for a few days!

Nope, wouldn't fancy me to splace over 3 mill for such a thrill
