I am frequently told that I look like someone else.  Sometimes I suspect that I have a doppelganger.  She's annoying.

I have been told I have a double in the cities.
We have never crossed paths.
If they do exist it has not been a problem - yet.

Evidently I have a couple of them.  Never caused me any problems, but it has caused amusement.

There is a submissive who has served a male dom whom I absolutely cannot stand in a poly household, and someone mistook me for her at a party.  I have never met the woman, but was told by the person who mistook me for her that she's a dead ringer for me.  It was amusing on three counts:  1)  Everyone else at the party knows I'm a Domme to the core, 2) many of the people in attendance know how much I abhor the particular male dom she was serving, and 3) almost anyone who knows me knows that I'm not the slightest bit interested in being part of a poly household.  Several people were stifling laughter.  My expression must have been priceless.  That particular male dom was very rude to me a few years ago and I have never forgotten it.

Another time, I was picking up my check from my consulting firm.  A guy came running after me calling "Bonnie, Bonnie, is that you?"  I turned around and looked at him and told him no.  He stared at me and said he couldn't believe I was not Bonnie.  He dated her ten years ago, lost touch, and wanted to get back together.  Evidently Bonnie was from the south and talks with a southern accent, so after he heard my midwester twang, he finally believed me when I said I wasn't her.

Yes, I have a few look-alikes.. but in high school I had one who was always getting in trouble and the teachers would hand me her Detention/Suspension slips. And then when I'd try to hand them back saying it wasn't me.. they'd get even more upset and write out other bad slips. I finally had to go to the Principal. Hmpf!

Yes, I do.  She hasn't caused me any problems since I was 5 and my parents tried to leave the amusement park with the wrong kid...  Though, really, that would have been a problem for them, not me :)
I got ice cream, and a blowup orca out of it...

I have seen her once or twice since then, though we've never spoken.

YES! lol

I was helping people in the music industry and had to go to different bars to check the bands out. I went to this one bar and sat down. I saw a man looking at me, but had no idea why he was so intense. Finally he talked to the bartender and offered him a hundred dollars to get my name. So he came and told me that and he went back and told him my name and the man nearly blew off the bar stool. I had never seen this man before and believe me, I would have remembered him! Finally I went over to him and asked him what the deal was. His ex wife looked just like me and had my same name! He said he wanted to rip me apart when he saw me. lol But he was really a nice guy and we ended up dating for a while.

Then my mom went out to eat and sat for an hour trying to figure out if this lady there was me. She thought it odd I wouldn't say hello.

Then I was bartending and a man came in upset with me. He wanted to know why I didn't say hello when I was by his house. I said... I don't even know where you live! Had I seen him I would have said hello, but it wasn't me!

So some wench out there was getting me into trouble and I didn't like it much, but it is rather funny when your own mother doesn't know if it is you or not! lol

Pretty sure I have (at least) one half-brother (by my father) that is in Chicago.  I suspect my father was gay.  I know the suspected half-brother in Chicago is gay.  I'm a dead-ringer for both my Dad and the Chicago half-brother.  I suspect one of my two sisters is a "half" through our mother.  Mom and Dad might have been "wife-swappers" in the early 50s.  Plenty of "soft" data points - nothing that'd stand up in court, y'know?

Here in Denver, there was a lock-down on a local elementary school.  Police were canvassing the school's neighborhood (which is 4 or 5 miles away from mine.)  TV live cameras followed police.  A man came to the door and was then on the news broadcast.  I got three calls asking why I didn't tell them I had moved. (Even the guy's distinctive bathrobe matched mine.)

Here in Denver, I attended a Corporate function.  Woman told another woman that told me (a couple of weeks later) that I was a dead-ringer for first women's on-again-off-again boyfriend.  I gave 2nd woman a pic and contact info to pass to 1st woman to pass to her boyfriend (maybe the guy in paragraph just above?)  Nothing ever came of it.

Here in Denver, entering my office building.  A woman across the street calls my first name, I turn and she waves.  She crosses street and starts talking to me.  She was (supposedly) my ex-wife and it took her three sentences of denial before she agreed that I wasn't.

And now, the FUCKING-est, MOST frustrating example!  A friend passed me the following pic without knowing where he got it!  He didn't pass it saying, "Oh, Lance, I thought this looked like you."  Oh, no.... he had a "set" of pics that he passed on - without looking at them all.  He can't remember where he got the set of gay BDSM pics.  He doesn't even remember when.  Bless his heart-of-coal.

There's three that have "me" in the set of 10 or 15, but this is the most telling.  My body is exactly this shape, nipples and all.  I wear the exact same type of glasses - especially when flogging - can't wrap (too much.)  The left hand is a gesture I'm sure I "do" when flogging.  (I would never wear that type of cap.  I do NOT point with the index finger of my flogging hand - I think that might be a part of the flogger.  Or else my half-brother needs lessons.  And I'd be happy to give them to him.  Dom-to-Dom, y'know?)

Seriously, if ANYONE can tell me ANYTHING about this pic, I'd love to know!!!!!

This pic is NOT of the Chicago-suspected-half-Brother.  One of his legs has external metal pins.

I am NOT saying all dopple-gangers are half-siblings, just that in my instance, the Chicago DG one probably is, the Denver one I have no data for, the one in the pic who knows?  (maybe 2 and 3 are the same?)  Oh, and I have to count myself = makes 4 of us!  (At least three, tho')

1. I am awfully pale. (Compare right arm in pic to my right aarm in avatar.  Could the skin tones be any closer?  I think not.)
2. I have vy nice thighs.

3. Same hair (not much) on thighs, calves.
4. Same gut.

Info?

All those ferns make me guess Florida / Key West guest house.  Now which one has a St. Andrew's Cross pool-side?

Not only do I have a double, but she is also involved in BDSM and I have seen her picture on this site.

In fact, the person who had looked at My profile had thought I might be her.  The man who alerted Me to this had looked at My profile thinking that I was this other woman.  In particular, he was into pony play and one of his shots (his main pic at the time) was her riding him.  We wouldn't be confused in real life.  It turns out that she is significantly taller than Me (5'8").

To this day, I am absolutely convinced that the woman must have been the person a few folks thought was Me from an article in a BDSM publication a few years ago.  At the time, I had a friend call Me because he swore that it was Me from the face picture that had been printed.

I am not sure if there is or not. There was a period of time when I looked like someone famous (part of it was hair style I think) and actually traveled in similar social circles. I got called Jacyln more than I wanted. Now, with short hair, it doesn't happen. Plus I don't often leave Iowa these days let alone spend time in the LA area.

I have 2 or 3 doubles running around. The most trouble they have caused is not speaking to friends, and then me getting ranty phone calls. Makes me wonder if *I* am the bad one? lol
