Status: offline 		A certain Domme on here (who shall remain nameless) has stated her intention to jam a completely unsanitary object down her subs Urethra. I shot off a message telling her she better sanitize the object or her sub will be risking, at the very least, a urethral infection, and at worst a major infection that could lead to amputation of the penis.
Her reply was "Subs don't tell me what to do"
At what point do Dommes feel they can completely disregard the health and safety of their sub?
It just struck me as rediculous that this woman has no clue about hygiene and simple sanitary safety.
I hope her sub has more sense than she does...

Status: offline 		Usually when you see absolutely stupid stuff like that, it's an indication that the person is firmly in fantasy land and doesn't have a sub. She's probably just trying to appear to be the biggest, baddest domme on the block in order to impress others. Sad.

If you know from real life that she does have one, and who it is, then I would suggest you take your concerns to him. Because it's his responsibility to allow something like this to happen or not.

People do stupid stuff all the time, drive too fast, jump out of airplanes etc. They choose to decide what is too risky for them and what isn't.

You're on the net.  You don't really have any idea if that is what is really going to happen or not.  Is it possible that is exactly what is going to happen?  You bet.  There are absolutely people out there stupid enough to put themselves in the hands of someone who has no clue of what in the hell they are doing.

When you see with your eyes a person trying to hammer a rusty nail down someones pee hole you can get all concerned.

With the heavy level of bullshit that gets talked about here, it is a good idea to assume most people are Typing out a text based fantasy. There is little possibility that it will actually happen.

As for the Domme in question..... the responce you got from them tells me quite a bit about them.

Status: offline 		I've never tried any BDSM and even I know not to shove anything that has not been sanitised anywhere. I don't have any medical knowledge or life experience. I am just a student. I will eat something that I dropped on the floor but I wouldn't do THAT. Not even to myself.
Could the difference be IQ level? Mine is reasonably average.

The use of sounds is a highly specialized and high skill based fetish niche.
I'm horrified that untrained, un-mentored people are using these techniques on the unaware.
If you want to learn how to use sounds correctly you need to be mentored by either a Sub or a Dom/Domme  who has had extensive experience.
Ask for references and for the love of God walk away from anyone who refuses to use basic hygiene.

The sounds should be STERILE -

Boiled in BOILING water for at least 10 mins. ( I prefer salted water myself)
They should be packed in a clean cloth and NOT back into their case.
They should be made of surgical steel.
Latex surgical gloves should be used by the inserter.
The penis and the eye of the penis should be swabbed with a one use medi-wipe.
Sterile, one use only sachets of non-reactive lubricant rather than a large bottle.
The gauge of sound should fit comfortably within the diameter of the urethra without undue force.
Rose Bud Tipped sounds are NOT for beginners.  Run a mile and call an end to a session if a beginner pulls out a sound with a bulged tip.
Tens units and sounds...forget it..there are so few Doms or subs experienced in this kind of play that are able to give you instruction you can write this one off as a fantasy. Honestly!

There has been a recent thread all about this.
Thanks for the good info but if you really want to protect from infection then you need to go a few steps further.

If your not lucky enough to have an autoclave, you can still buy autoclave envelopes. Sounds can be slipped inside and then sealed before being steamed in a steaming pan until the little indicator has changed color. The envelope is then dried, dated and stored for use.
You can put sounds into a clean cloth but the clean cloth will only contaminate the sounds.
Individually wrapped sterile gloves should be used.
Only the end of the sounds should be touched by the sterile glove.

Sounds are actually fairly easy to use providing you know what your doing. Its unlikely to find a workshop on such stuff but there are plenty of medically trained scene goers that will show a person how to sound correctly.

Sounds should never be painful and never be pushed/forced. Once people have learnt how to correctly use, I see no reason that tens machines can't be used with them. I have been using sounds and tens for many years.

Status: offline 		Their are eurethral equipment for a reason, perhaps you can explain to the submissive that his penis could become infected and it could lead to
surgical amputation. The fact remains, when you have socalled "dominants and even submissives" who have no experience or training, and think
that recklacness is alright that by all means do what you feel is necessary.

I had witnessed a young man jamming a pen full of ink down his penis on CM chat a couple months ago, and while the "Domme" was clueless and
clearly didn't care about the safety or wellbeing of the man. CM did their part and atleast let the domme know that they do not encourage those
types of recklace acts to be broadcast on their site.

Ultimately, on the internet your talking about different countries, people who perform with each other who have all levels of experience and even who
have all different levels of intimacy and trust. At the end of the day, its important to be aware of who you are giving your trust to, as well as be aware
of your own body.

Bad things happen to even good people, and while not all risks can be avoided. If you are aware, develop trust with your dominant/submissive and play
in a safe environment you can greatly decrease your chances of getting hurt.
