I still get crushes, and I am 42... shrugs... I like em...all the mushy feelings without picking up their dirty underwear, ironing their work shirts, and cleaning their toothpaste out of the sink

I call it my Harriet the Spy routine. I don't stalk, but if I'm somewhere they are, I like kind of being aware of them. There was a dude at Border's book store that I loved to go and have a coffee, reading a book, look up, see him running about. Made me feel all cute, girly, and silly.

2 years to 50 and yes, not painful ones of unrequted lust, but enjoyable smiley tingly ones. My body can go where it wants with old age, but if I ever lose my ability to feel sexual, I will feel the greatest loss.

I'm 45 and I get crushes all the time. Of course, being married, it's not as intense as they used to be, and they don't las as long, but they're definitely real.

I had that ONCE , for a boss. Eventually he took me up on it, it was GOOD but, short-lasting (because of gossip lol grrr) and he took a position at a different location. Was a 20 years ago, so not sure if I would still feel the same. At the time though, Ikkkes...couldn't slurp up enough of him. Um yeah, just thought of it...I'm over it LOL.

I still get crushes, and enjoy them. Crushing on someone is fun. Everyone should know the pleasure of feeling giddy and goofy every now and then.

ok ok you caught me. I still do get em all the time, but I never act on them. Crushes imply a sort of 'immature' lust right? or even a premature lust. Yeah, well, they are ok, but not something I would act upon unless confronted (which I am never). I would never go somewhere intentionally (now in my old age) or call a guy because of one. Hmm there might lie the difference between a 'crush' and an obsession, I dunno which is more immature now LOL. Thanks for confusing me OP [:(]

I never acted on any of my crushes either. Although I had a boss that I crushed on who I used to leave little hershey kisses on his desk every time I stopped by his office. Everyone thought I WAS doing him, because I was the only assistant he didn't treat like shit, and the only one who ever got a raise from him. Not THAT kind of raise, you pervs! I still smile when I think about him. Mostly, because he really was a hardcase and a hardsell, and it did wonders for my self-esteem(and career) to win his respect.
