No, you can report them all you like.

Finally transfer of money from another country usually requires a special type of account, if you do not have that kind of account then you are literally sending you money for noting.

Yeah, you need a checking account. I do this every month. It's not difficult.

They're the telemarketers of our current decade. Before you ended up with crappy magazines, now you lose your house and savings.

LOL, hey I sold those crappy magazines through my school!   There were prizes offered for the most subscriptions sold.  I often wondered if the people actually received the magazines they ordered...and why they would special order them when any local newstand or pharmacy carried the same thing.

I never won any prizes, even with my parents calling in favors, theres only so many crappy magazines one can sell.

I am a nice guy and of course give out my banking details to everybody, or rather the one i give out is the collection account for Told/Skat (danish receiver of revenue) and if they want my telephone number i do have the phone number for the fraudsquad to give them. I wish i could see their faces when they try and and use either for criminal activities, as both is permanent linked to pretty interesting tracking devices.

Did your bank not require an International Banking to Banking Routing Transfer number?

Mine did. I use USBank. It required my bank to contact their bank and set up a special transfer code that allows finds to be transfered internationally.

It also required a small amount to be transfered in my case it was $1.21 from then back to my account before any amount of money over $5,000 could be transfered.

I would like to do something like his. We can't count on anyone to protect us.

There's what's called "baiting."  Group of people out to try to reverse the scam.  Here's a good one:  http://www.419baiter.com/

Google:

419 baiters

and you'll get plenty of stories and there's technical info.  Even some e-mail addresses set up to attract the scam-type e-mails.  That is, you, Termyn8or can get a scammer and go at it.

Have fun.  Be careful.

I prefer www.419eater.com
The owner of that site once got a scammer to carve a bust of him, then photoshopped a pic of it with big holes in it and a squirrel poking out the ear and sent it to the scammer. He said he couldn't pay for damaged art

I've heard of them before. I explored it a bit, but I don't have the time. Pl,us it is static info, new techniques come out every day. I figure I'll just wing it.

Any scammer targets the mark's lust or greed. I can see that coming 22,000 miles away, although my eyesight is so bad that I might have to quit driving, you know what I mean.

You would have to be a moron to get sucked into this shit, an imbecile probably couldn't do ir. (clinical definitions) And I know some people who resemble that remark. They are NOT getting on my computers.
