I recently shared some links to utube vids/songs that I listen to that have meaning and are upbeat that help me when I get down with a friend. It got me thinking about using techniques to improve mood. My question is two-fold:

1) what songs do you listen to that you find uplifting?

2) what other techniques do you use to raise your spirits when you are feeling low or out of sorts? (other than medical help/therapy/meds etc.)

Rush, Yes and The Grateful Dead can be positive and uplifting. A nice hike in the woods is uplifting, what is even better is working through a problem that is on your back, your mood gets better real fast.
