I am aware of the 1934 hoarding laws.

Even then- there was exceptions. I am a small player like me would not be effected. They want the big fish. People with warehouses full of bullion. Not a private household that has a few pieces or so.

It is now. It won't be when The Man starts to clamp down on that. Maybe you should move it to a safety deposit box in a bank outside of the country then bring it back when the ban has passed and the dollar's been devalued? It'd hike the value of your gold something rotten. I believe those Rothschilds you're so fond of did something similar during the depression.

Seriously. I am a small player.

The grid has no interest in me.

However - consider that it is already in an executive order about hoarding food stocks. So what is too much food? Then look how fast they tazer people now. It is anyones guess.

I see no point to leaving the country. My area is pretty solid- even if the cities burn to the ground.

Moon- there are plenty of executive orders. And continuity of govt plans.

Consider tho - that $20 was a 1 oz gold coin. 20 silver dollars = a $20 gold coin.

With digital money- it all can be adjusted via key stroke. And get this. When they devalue- your money goes down- but your mortgage and debt WONT.

overnight- it will lose 2/3 of its value. But your debt will remain.

What's the worst case scenerio? A cyber 9/11? Maybe if it does happen some of these companies that outsource will finally be motivated to bring IT jobs back to the US.

Far be it for me to rain on a good conspiracy parade, but I think it needs to be pointed out that the fucking bill has not even passed either house of congress, and it is not likely to as written.

Leave it to Pahunk to stir up the radical right... of course, people seem to forget that Bush and company tried to get the same type of power through the Patriot Acts, and when that failed, Bush authorized the NSA to filter the emails of everyone with a program designed to pull out phrases such as bomb, hijack, etc.

People scream bloody murder when some sort of security bill gets introduced by Democrats but turn a blind eye to them when the Republicans do the same damn thing.
