Dude, do you think CNN is really that stupid?  Second of all, it's supposed to be a live feed, so how can there be a 28 second point?  That would indicate that what she's looking at is NOT live.  Also, the image that she refers to appears to be more a reflection on a computer screen.  Notice that she is filming.  She could have somebody standing behind her opening the door on cue.  You'll also notice that it doesn't happen at exactly the same time she points it out each time.

I don't know what kind of person spends their days watching the spill cam. Has anything drastic changed in the last 60 odd days? It could be a mock up in a goldfish bowl for all I care.

Watching paint dry gives more entertainment.

Where are all the web cams pointing at the various other ecological disasters we are perpetuating?

Nothing changes: we only care about what we see before us.

I personally find it soothing.....I pretend it's balsamic vinegar just billowing out into some virgin olive oil. I fall to sleep watching it....mmmmm balsamic vinaigrette. So sleepy now.

It gives me peace to know it's out there. I never cared for pelicans and name one fucking thing that a sea turtle has ever done for me? Fuckers live forever and spend there whole lives shitting, fucking and fouling up our oceans...Good riddance!

It's as if BP is giving the Earth some greatly needed liposuction. She has been looking a tad bit heavy around her equator of late. I personally wasn't going to mention it after what she did to those po' folks in Nah lins.

From space I have heard the results can be seen. she looks stunning!!! Makes you kind of want to roll her over on her Africa and enjoy a little analartica play.

It's not live and is pretty clearly being filmed off of a monitor of some sort.

You also have a choice of cameras down there - I've seen up to 5 operating off the various ROVs.
