Perhaps this may help people who haven't met the ONE. I have had 2 great loves in my life...one was a vanilla, and one I met for a session. How about you?

We met at a kinky campout called In The Woods in 2005. He'd driven 600 miles from MT to WA to attend. We both had profiles on here but were not searching for someone two states away. Both he and the Dom I'd agreed to obey for the weekend had the hots for another sub lady. During the sub/slave auction they were betting against each other. Finally Gary said he'd stop bidding if he could have me. The guy I was with agreed. Heck, I felt so unwanted that day. However, Gary and I hit it off and had a blast. We kept in touch through phone and internet. Three months later he came to visit me. He met my family and I met his family that lived in WA. Three months after that I quit my job and moved to AZ to spend the rest of the winter with him. We're been together ever since.

I met most of my serious boyfriends (3+ years) through vanilla life and then converted them, and consistently have met most of my "casual" partners through the Internet or alternative dance clubs. I did meet my husband through my web site, but he contacted me more as a curious type and I pretty much introduced him to everything; we had a 2+ year online (well, mostly phone) relationship before meeting in person though. I have never met any of my guys on a kink site, as yet. I met my last relationship while standing on line to get theater tix in NYC and I met my previous ones through set ups or in vanilla life and converted them.

For the most part, and the two that really mattered most and made the biggest impact in my life, I actually met online. Took it very slowly before moving it to real time. Hell, one of them it was nearly a year and a half before we actually spoke on the phone... damn... thinking about it, the other it was 3 years before talking on the phone. Then again, we were just acquaintances to begin with, then over time talked more and more and got closer. At the start, the thought of any kind of relationship wasn't there at all, just simply 'this person is interesting and nice to chat with once in a while'. I'm glad it grew from that though. Yes, I'm one of those horrid people who figure, "Hey, I've got plenty of life left, no need to rush.". ;)

At the golf course. Seriously a lot of powerful businessmen that are quite dominant by nature are there. He seemed like the biggest asshole, so of course I gravitated that way, I like pricks. ;) So far, so good. [;)].

I'll remember that if I ever feel the need to go searching again. After a lifetime fascination with golf I finally played it for the first time 2 1/2 years ago.

lol...it works! Most golfers (males) are fairly successful, and prickish. :) Mine is definitely both, thank god because he's so prickish sometimes that he needs to be successful to outweigh it! I had had an interest in BDSM for a long time. After a pretty terrible couple of years I decided to do something about my interest and posted an ad on another bdsm site. I had a contact back from someone within the first couple of hours and we started chatting. After chatting for a while we arranged a meet for a play session. I fell for him that night and we have been together ever since. Next year is our 6 year anniversary.

I met him here on CM the first night I signed up. I was watching the Superbowl and fooling around on the laptop at the same time. He wrote to me within a few minutes, I wrote back, we took it to a private chat and have been together now for 1 1/2 years. I took my time in the beginning though and met some others while I was deciding who would be right for me. He just stood above everyone else and I saw that fairly quickly and made it exclusive within a month or two of meeting face to face. I asked him once what made him want to pursue things with me as a couple...he said he was convinced when he physically first laid eyes on me. In fact he bought a collar for me after the first time we played and held onto to it until he was sure I felt the same way. It took a bit more for me to be that sure but I got there. We've had our ups and downs but I think there is great potential for us and I'm eager to see how things pan out.

We both joined this site within a week of each other in 2005. He saw my profile almost from day one. I never knew he existed since he didn't have a pic and I only looked at those with pics. He started following my posts on this side and pieced together enough info about me to find out my real name and address. He then proceeded to park on my street occasionally to see if he could spot me. I was still oblivious to his existence. I've had a couple of great loves in my life which I'm thankful to have had and do have currently. I don't think many can say that. Me and my late husband were childhood sweethearts, growing up as neighbors together. I met Master online right here . We chatted sparsely for a couple of years, I didn't really have a big interest in him at the time. He was just someone to chat with late at night when I was bored. Then we agreed to meet for coffee because I thought "why not, I could use a mini vacation". He was walking across the street to the cafte but I didn't know it was him and I kept thinking "ya know if things don't work out with this guy, I'm going home with that hot guy walking in front of me!" Gawd now you have me thinking! Over the years Ive kinda stumbled onto females in general day to day situations and thru innuendo and my eye for kinksters Ive probably met 5 or 6 girls who I ended up taking onboard. But a memorable Lass I still stay in contact with I met picking up a drunken gaggle of vanilla girls I know at a nightclub as a favour to their hubbies after a hens night. As per usual they had no concept of time and as it was a girls only club I couldn't go inside so I lounged around outside chatting to the door bitches waiting and hoping they would come out. What did come out was a steady stream of tender morsels and one of them spotted me having a quiet ciggie and asked if I had a spare. We ended up shooting the breeze for 45 mins until my cover story (She thought it was a story) was proven as 3 disgracefully pissed trollops stumbled out and made a spectacle of themselves so I bowed out and poured the drunks into my car and buggered off home. Before I left she had written her number on a scrap of paper and I called her the following morning and we hooked up for lunch the next day as I was in Melbourne for business and we ended up talking for 4 hours till they reset the tables for the dinner service and kicked me out so I went to drive home, offered T a lift and it went from there with T following me home for the week. We played on and off for 8 years, nothing serious but just good fun and as she outgrew me and moved on we remained friends. I suspect that there are a lot of people out there who wonder for a large portion of their lives what The Lifestyle may hold for them and given the right openings they will jump at the chance to explore further.

I meet him on a Tagged, we started talking and hanging out in a nilla setting. He quickly confronted me about somethings and asked if I was involved in the lifestyle. We then began and exploring some kink together and well now we are both considering one another for a more structure daddy/girl relationship. Prior to EDQ2 I meet someone on CM we had a short relationship that turned toxic. My children's father and my former owner and I meet on a roleplay site. Started talking and enteracting inside the venue as well as out. We became friends. Then he flew to California meet me and my kids and shortly after we moved to Maryland (he was from NY). We were together for yrs and although no longer a couple we are still good friends and parents.
