sometimes heroism is better recognized through the villainous, if that makes sense

The blending of the two archetypes sounds fabulous in theory, and if you are lucky enough to enjoy both in one person, kudos to you.

However, I have personally found it is one or the other, to the extreme, where the elements needed from both are absent in the other.

Hopefully that made some sense to someone other than me.
