It's an interesting concept, but if the employee does kill themselves, what will the company do? Fire them? Seems kind of pointless.
People reaching the point of suicide is deep depression. I used to have a friend (yes, I eventually, for my own peace of mind had to end the friendship) who talked about suicide often. Each time I tried my best to talk her out of it, even explaining how each method that she was thinking of was not quite the "peaceful exit" she thought it would be. I made the mistake of telling her that she was choosing all the wrong drugs for her peaceful exit plan, but refused to tell her what the correct drugs were (yes I do know which ones would work best). She got very angry with me and said that if I were truly her friend, I would be supportive of her decision to off herself and give her constructive advice on how to do it properly. That was when I finally understood the term "toxic person."
But I have to admit, those Chinese do come up with some interesting job requirements....
