DommeKeliDallas -> Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/22/2010 11:31:09 AM)

Some of my submissive pets, like to be pretend blackmailed to expose teir naughty ways to their mates.
This is really fun, BUT, they must initially KNOW that this is PRETEND.

Just relax and ENJOY this past time.
Your thoughts?

Jeffff -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/22/2010 11:33:10 AM)

Give me their names and address, I'd be more than happy to help out.

LadyAngelika -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/22/2010 11:34:20 AM)

It's not anything I would enjoy doing, so I won't do it. Also, I'm not a big fan of pretend.

You mention how your submissives like this and you say it is fun. Perhaps you'd like to expand on why you like it? It might give people something to provide thoughts on.

LadyPact -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/22/2010 11:36:39 AM)

Not a practice that I would be involved in.  If they had mates (which I'm thinking means spouses that aren't aware of their activities), they wouldn't be involved with Me in the first place.

Lockit -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/22/2010 11:44:03 AM)

DommeKeli, it seems to me that most every post or thread you make is more an advertisement than anything else. One minute you had past submissives/pets and are wondering where the good one's are and the next you have them, you say they/or you like this or that but want to know how to do it. I just read most of your stuff as bs in general.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/22/2010 5:27:43 PM)

Blackmail is a felony, right? Just checking.

Well to be fair, LadyHibiscus, and I'm quoting LadyPact from earlier today on another thread:

quote:

In the state of California, it is illegal to restrain someone and physically prevent them from leaving the premises. It is illegal to physically strike someone. (Whether they consent or not is not a consideration in the eyes of the law.) There is a different charge entirely if you use a weapon. A deadly weapon (such as a scalpel or a knife) is a more serious charge. If you co-habitate with that person (married or not) the charges upgrade to domestic violence.

So to use the *it's illegal* card applies to a whole lot of what goes on here.

I think that it's a federal level crime, srsly...so not something I would "play" with lightly.

I understand what you are saying. But I'm saying that all of WIITWD is potentially a crime of sorts, at least in the US. So the bottom line is that the criminal potential isn't for me the great deterrent.

For me the great deterrent is that I have absolutely no idea how this kind of play is going to make *me* wet ;-)

Me neither.  I've been approached a number of times by men asking me to blackmail them, and not one of them has gotten past my initial conditions for playing this game with them on a professional basis.   They're pretty standard safety conditions; the play is strictly confined to telling online fantasy stories, and the client must agree never to give me any real contact information for himself or anyone else.  It all has to be fake, and roleplaying only, with no connection to actual names or facts in the real world.  But this isn't good enough for them.  They honestly do want someone who is not doing it as a game, and that crosses the legal line.  I have never had a single person who wrote me with an interest in blackmail agree to do it as a clearly identified fantasy-only roleplay.  Every one of them needed it to be more real than that.

Which suggests that if there are other professional dominants playing this game, if they want the business, they may well be doing stuff that is legally actionable.  And it is illegal whether it's consensual or not, and whether they realize this or not.  I don't want the business, certainly not badly enough to risk a federal rap for it.  I wouldn't advise anyone else take it on, either.  It stops being either fun or profitable when the feds get involved.  Blackmail is not very safe stuff to play around with.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/23/2010 9:48:51 AM)

Thanks, LadyNTrainer, that's exactly where I was going with that.
Taking those naughty pictures and playing with the THREAT is a hot game. (I think you'll love the potential for predicament play, LadyA!). The real thing? Never. That kind of threat would eliminate any chance of developing trust.

Pretend. Something that isn't real or cannot come to pass.
Fact. You know they're cheating.
Fantasy. We'll get off on the idea of telling.
Fact. You tell and the shit hits the fan.
Game over.

Ok, on that, I can see the potential hotness, still not sure it would be on the top of my list.

LadyHibiscus -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/23/2010 5:40:38 PM)

It's not on my list at all...but I flashed back to a scene I did many years go, where the guy was all trussed up in glam leather restraints. He looked great,and I said Dang, I wish I had my camera! He was HORRIFIED. The idea that a total stranger could rob him, injure him, or kill him was wayyy less scary than the idea of being photographed in bondage.

MissAsylum -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/23/2010 5:44:57 PM)

never been a fan of blackmail- real or implied. typically, those who want to be blackmailed are married(vanilla, lifestyle or pro- i never deal with married men) who like to play with the idea of their marriage being destroyed by the sexy domme, but they want to play with real life objects. one nut job with the typical "cut, paste, send" message "asked" me(more like told me, but whatever)to accpet jewelery that he took from his wife, and threaten to take pictures of myself with said jewelery and send them to his wife ifhe disobeyed me. in all serious matters- that could have dire consequences for all parties involved- why would i or anybody else involve themselves with such craziness?

DommeKeliDallas -> RE: Financial Domination/Pretend Blackmail (5/23/2010 8:45:37 PM)

This is PRETEND...just fantasy-play. I am not REALLY blackmailing them.
Please go read about this BDSM ROLE-PLAY

It isn't REAL.
It is acting...role-play.

I thought this was a well-known role-play.
IT ISN'T real.
It is pretend.

Not sure why you are responding this to me. I'm one of the ones that said that most everything of what we did was considered illegal so the illegal argument was null and void for me.

I'll add that if you don't want a variety of opinions, don't ask for thoughts on a message board.

Well yes, you may believe that you are acting or roleplaying.  We may even believe that too.  That doesn't actually matter much in the real world. What happens if your "consensual blackmail" client's wife gets into his account and finds records of your fun, gets seriously pissed and calls the cops?  Will they believe you were only pretending, particularly if any real money or goods ever exchanged hands at any time for any reason?

Basically, if you don't think you could explain it to a judge, I wouldn't advise risking it.  Federal raps keep on being no fun for way too many years, and blackmail is going to be taken a lot more seriously than a prostitution charge. It's not a great cost-benefit ratio here.  As far as I'm concerned, you can have aaaaalll the business in this field you like.  I'm sure as hell not going to compete with you for any, because nonconsensual ten to twenty year bondage is just not my kink.

I respect that you are an adult and you get to make your own decisions and pick your own risks, but from one pro to another, I do not advise this.
