Screw the Queen. What has she done for you lately. Last time I checked people in England couldn't say what ever they wanted under the guise of hate legislation, they couldn't own a gun, they couldn't control their immigration laws, and they were close to putting microchips in trash cans until someone put it on tv and made them look like idiots.

Considering Victoria has been dead for over a hundred years, she hasn't done much for anyone lately.
Victoria day is celebrated in Canada, not the UK.

Trying to make sense from the ravings, Lucy?

I've never figured why country music got so hooked into patriotism.  It's not like it's been that way forever and ever...

If you have to like country to patriotic, well then just call me a traitor!

Or just gimmee that old school bluegrass instead.

Sitting at the American Legion on Monday...drinking free beer....and catching a story or two about what these people did when they were 20 years old in WWII, Korea, Viet Nam, Desert Storm, Iraq or Afghanistan is one of my favorite things to do.

That and inserting odd things into Aileen.

I was on Youtube yesterday watching some of those "Victory at Sea" tapes and man, that was some brutal fighting in the Pacific!
The Japs wouldn't surrender and the Marines had to burn them out of caves with flamethrowers then shoot them as they came running out of the caves on fire.

To those who made the ultimate sacrifice, and to the families who heard the 21 guns that called their loved one a hero...thank you!

We lost my nephew this last January. He was in Iraq for his second tour. He was 19 years old. It's hard to accept but he was doing what he wanted to do. His biggest dream in life was to be a Marine, nothing else even came close.

I've been thinking of him all day...

Thanks to all the men and women that serve, and have served, with honor.

Thanks daddy, and Big Mike.
