I was at a dungeon in LA this weekend and had my amazing and awe inspiring scene rudely interrupted and upstaged. I am in the process of tormenting two beautiful women when the sound of power tools interrupts my headspace. I look up from whatever soft bit I was tormenting to see sparks flying from the side wheel grinder being used on the steel helmet of the woman tied down to a chair holding a can of gasoline and a lighter. The top got pissed though because his grinder died mid spark and he had to switch from the side wheel grinder, and fired up the electric chainsaw. I am not fucking kidding! I pried the two of them off each other to watch and we just sort of huddled together, speechless, not sure if we felt awe, irritation, or just amazement. It was by far the most over the top scene I have ever seen. I have seen my rose cane used to bloody someone's back so the piss would sting more, I have seen people do race play, and other wild stuff but nothing prepared me for that. Curious what the wildest scenes in public people have witnessed?

Sounds like it was a scene to shock. I like those sort of scenes, especially if they appear to be off the cuff. I once did an interrogation scene where I took what looked like a round saw (it was the machine they use for taking off casts on broken arms and legs). I had already primed the blade with fake blood and so when I ran it down his chest it looked like I had opened him up! Got a few weak legs and a lot of people running for the DM's (who were in on it)

They are also fond of using a grinder for the "shower of sparks" torture. Billed as "the sexiest band in the world", they put on one hell of a stage show. From medical scenes, fire play, religious scenes and everything else you can find in a good dungeon, they put on quite a 'scene' even is it is a show! The best scene I ever witnessed was given by Sir Dale. I used to give a demo on roleplay and interrogation - the 101 class. Dale gave the 301 class. I don't do the introduction class anymore.

The one i saw was real. This girl had part of her breast skinned. Yes I said skinned, about a 3" dia area of flesh was removed all you saw was red raw meat. I was squicked. She took the pain better than I could have. BadOne

It sounds really, really dumb. But it does sound like a great place to point and stare.

and after the shock effect had worn off, were the onlookers in black leather not a bit miffed they missed out on the torture? maybe the scene continued and Esinem did his own postmortem (maybe to find out how and why the girl was killed?)

Many of us sit and watch action TV. We watch horror films knowing they make us jumpy. We know its not real but we must all be dumb if we get nervous!! Why does a performance in a fet club need to be about torture? why not some action for a change. Why not something different that makes the audience jumpy, just like a good tv drama? Personally I get sick of trying to thread my way through people flogging asses and the one thing I do enjoy is an off the wall performance. English clubs don't have guys standing around in leather. We may get the odd one or two but fet clubs over here are bright and colorful. The leather brigade is very much an American thing.

I hate horror films and these sorts of scenes make me squeamish...I know, I'm a big baby. In regards to the breast skinning... All I can say is what sort of person allows their breast to be scarred in such a way for the amusement of others and why would anyone find this entertaining??

The thing about performances is, you don't have to watch. I love wild and weird performances. The one with the gun has been a fantasy of mine for years. Yeah ok, its extreme and I wouldn't really want to be shot but I sometimes imagine being captured at gun point with the knowledge that there's a bullet in that gun.

The cool thing about the scene I was speaking of is that it wasn't about performing per se. The gun thing was about the two of them fucking with the heads of those watching, they were actors in a self scripted drama. While the style itself was showy and the top was clearly relishing that a bit, it was clearly a scene between him and the woman he was playing with. For ME, what makes a scene hot isn't how dramatic it is, or how sadistic or even sensual but the energy between two people. Last scene I watched that had me mezmerized was two newbies at a "dungeon 101" night and they were simply topless and tweeking each other's nipples. However, the depth of the connection was intense and the energy flowing between them was hot as hell. At the same time a guy was double singletailing and that bored me to tears. I feel that way about suspension, it is all too often about putting some young hot attention whore on display and it bores the fuck out of me.

It surprises me how fluffy this place is sometimes. Not that I have anything against the mildest of mindsets but its the shock horror on here that's so fucking hysterical sometimes. Not all of us are deviants when it comes to the actions of pain but I am extremely careful when writing on these boards (unlike the other BDSM site I go to) about anything a little risky. Its not only the moral police that are waiting in the side lines to pounce but there is one very obnoxious vanilla guy in our midst's that spends virtually his entire time on here telling us we are all insane. This had the potential of being an interesting thread but like all threads like this, it doesn't stand a hope on this site.

I think you and I have talked about that before, Maria. It also may have something to do with why the particular scene came to My head. Even in the program (this was at a national event, btw) it specifically came with a disclaimer that what was going to be presented was not for everyone. At the very beginning, Dale even went over what was going to be covered, and even mentioned that it might be in some folks best interest to leave. Normally, I'm not much of one for scripted scenes. This was a bit different. It was set as a WWII era interrogation. The costumes and props for this thing were fabulous. If I wasn't already familiar with Dale's resourcefulness, I would have wondered where in the world he had gotten them all. The story went that the gestapo had found a prisoner that they had to extract information from. That meant that they were going to get that by any means necessary. When the prisoner tried to run, the agents took him down, even as he resisted. He was electrocuted (awesome period devices for that, too), beaten, verbally berated, and tortured in a number of ways. I wouldn't want to spoil it in the event that Dale would put this thing on again, but there was a great twist at the end. There I sat watching this thing, completely enthralled with every minute of it. Hell, I even drifted somewhat into space just watching it. I even joked at the end that I might need a towel for My chair. I can promise you that doesn't happen every day. Would I have especially described this scene as SSC? No. Do I consider electric play perfectly safe? No. Resistance play? Nope. Was a Nazi piece going to make everyone perfectly content? No. Did I care? Not a bit. Was it one of the hottest things I've ever seen in public BDSM? You bet.
