I am very powerfully attracted to completely artifically coloured hair, especially pink. At my favourite coffee house one of the girls has had her hair styled in an ice cream pink bob cut and, from watching the number of men making fools of themselves over her I am not the only man turned on. She is pretty, and with a fine figure, but the level of attention she is getting has gone off the scale.
As a kid I watched UFO with it's shiny tight suited moonbase controllers with their purple wigs and wondered why bits of me went all buzzy.
Now I find myself looking out for girls with pink hair and pondering.
I can't be the only one who finds this very sexy.

I'm 45 years old and bits of me.. ( eyebrows and such) are no longer natural.

I can still get away with dying my hair blue black.. not for very much longer. but still.. a bit longer.

Pink is too light for my hair colour...I couldn't do it...my hair wouldn't take it.

if one is going to change their natural hair colour.. one should match it as closely as possible to that which mother nature gave one..

Allie

I can however, wear pink, on occasion. grins..

Pink hair is hard to pull off if you are over 21. Personally, I would look like i shook a bottle of Pepto Bismol without the lid.

I am thinking of getting a strawberry blonde dye in order to cover my gray hair.

In the last 365 days, my hair has been blonde, strawberry blonde, copper, red, fire engine red, blood red, amathyst, and black.

i wish more people thought on hair color as they did clothing. We're a smart people, we have the dye... Why not use it ?
When done well, i find it very sexy.

I am just weird.........I do not like hair colours on a person that do not look natural. I actually lost interest in someone that had contacted me on the other side for two reasons, one of which was her mentioning that she was excited to dye her hair blue. The other was a religious practice. I cannot say that either was more important than the other. Just one of those.......this person is just not for me if they think that is cool.

I was naturally a bleach blonde..the type of blonde women spend millions recreating with a bottle each year. Every time Ive gotten pregnant, my hair has gotten a darker shade..so now I use a box to keep it close to the color it used to be naturally...but years ago as a bartender it was many many un-natural shades over the years. pink, blue, red (I mean real true fire engine red)...I loved the red best!. The only time my hair has been an un-natural color lately..I tried to go from blonde to strawberry blonde and it came out PINK! An ucky pink unfortunately...

In high school I dyed my hair regularly. For a while it was bright red, very punk rock. That faded to orange, which I liked too. It was a deep reddish auburn for over a year, at one point it was dark brown, then I dyed it close to my natural color again (kinda light/medium brown-ish) and haven't touched it since.
I tend to keep my hair short-ish so the dye has long since grown out and I have no intention of dyeing it again, the upkeep annoys me, and I like my natural hair color and have no reason to change it.
Every now and then I'll wear a wig just for the hell of it (a friend gifted me a few realistic ones after abandoning theater) and it's fun to change my look and see people's reactions without getting a dramatic cut and color  :)

OP I'm curious, do you think it's the way (certain) people look with dyed hair, or what you think the decision to go with a really aggressive, ersatz dye job says about a person's personality that draws you in?

I know when I was younger, I was sucker for the punk girl look (gaudily dyed hair in particular sucked me in), mostly because of assumptions the look made me make about what the girl was like.  Unfortunately, this was on the cusp of the "sorority girl gone poseur" trend, and so dye jobs and Doc Marten combat boots often proved to be unreliable at predicting personality types.  So usually I'd end up blowing the girl off anyway for someone with a more sophisticated look and an evil mind.

So I'm wondering--is the dye job enough to make you "want" the girl (whatever that means to you) no matter what?  Or is it just something you notice that initially attracts you but which becomes less meaningful if other factors don't align correctly?

Interesting question about attraction to a certain style...

My mum has a very alternative sense of fashion, her most recent hairstyle is long with bangs and dyed platinum blonde except for 2-3 inches at the bottom which are black. Very 'suicide girl' and her hair/clothes absolutely reflect her personality, which is high maintenance - but DAMN!  lol

I keep my hair kinda short in a way that still looks good when I ignore it, no dye, natural makeup, casual clothes...which reflect my calm, easy-going personality to a 't'.

People who dress in fads annoy me, because I never know what those fads are...so I can't tell if they're dressing to be chic or actually expressing themselves.

Agree with the OP, pink hair rocks.  Overall any bright, neon colored tresses are a pretty big turn on (it does depend on the wearer though, not everyone can pull it off) and you can't go wrong with the tried and true platinum blond.

I love pink hair!

Ever since I went blonde I've been obsessing over wanting to put a few light pink streaks in my hair, or pink tips at the bottom or something, I think it's a great color.

I love most artificial hair colors as long as they look good.
