~Fast Reply~ I don't know how drunk you plan on getting but as someone who also ignores the "BDSM and booze must never mix" line of thought... I'd suggest, first, outlining what you will and will not to ensure safety. IE. No knife play, no restraints she can't escape from, having someone around who is staying sober (perhaps a designated driver can fill this role), and just how intoxicated you are planning to get. Tipsy is one thing, shit-faced and stumbling around seeing double is another. Buy your booze accordingly and make sure to have bready foods around. Personally, I'd break this up into several smaller events and have one type of drink per event. Now, all this said... I've seen this poster before and, while I have no issue with drinking and playing in theory, I would like to state that IMHO, it is a higher risk activity because of what can go wrong. However, in a lifestyle where people inject each other's balls with saline, make homemade electrical toys, draw blood, eat shit and drink piss, and consider handing over every little life decision - including our PIN numbers and social security numbers... I just don't see how this is so amazingly, drastically, OH MY FUCKING GOD more dangerous as long as it's approached rationally and with an eye to keeping the risks as low as possible while still enjoying the activity.
