Meatloaf and mashed potatoes! Also, a really good wonton soup with a nice clear chicken broth with lots of different ingredients in it.

Pork sausages, mashed potato, boiled carrots and cabbage and a lake of strong onion gravy. Followed by Bird's Instant Trifle...[:D]

beef jerky is one of them.... and then anything home baked (bread, pie, rolls, cakes), part of the comfort is the baking of it

Rice. Don't much care what accompanies it, but there must be rice involved. Best of all, though: rice with onions fried in black pepper stirred through it. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Auntie Ann's Pretzels... or they used to be. Now they're kind of crappy. Did they change the recipe? I mean I had a garlic one in the airport. It was garlic dust on top. [:'(]

When I was stationed in Korea, I found a street cooker who would make hamburgers with a fried egg on top of the meat. It was delish.
