There is a poem I have been trying to find lately and I'm going quite mad in my continual failure to find it.

I'm going to paraphrase it because I can't quite get the words right in my mind.

It goes along the lines of....

"A life lived without the help or aid of joy...?"

If this rings a bell with anyone could you please give me a link and or the name of the poet.

Very little to go by, but is this it?
