Please pay attention. I was speaking only of the cycle time for each weapon. You seemed to have a problem with rentacops only being able to have revolvers and I was pointing out that revolvers are not a handicap.

Most recent figures I can find (2005) Chicago (virtually no concealed carry) 15.6 per 100,000 population Houston (very easy to get CCP) 16.5 per 100,000 Chicago is the 3rd most populace city in the US with Houston being 4th so a direct comparison of per capita rates is appropriate.
