A slave is priced just like any other commodity and the first rule of commodities is that they are only worth as much as someone is willing to pay for them.

Just a little off topic but for some reason this post reminds me of the most famous question that kids encounter: How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

I mean aren't these two question really one, if you think about it for a while?  Think about it!  Keep thinking.
