Evidently, some websites have some sort of software that attempts to determine where you are when you surf their site, and they target ads at you -- "buy your next car at Joe Dicks!" or "find women in ______".

It seems that these folks think that I, or at least my pc, are in Indiana. Never been there before. Could my pc have been made there, or has some dirty, rotten scoundrel hijacked muh computer? Just wondering.

I get that all the time, expecially on Xhamster where one of the ads is always deciding that I live in somewhere that sounds like where I live.
Glad to know that they get it wrong, then when they start getting it right I won't go there any more. It'll be a self defeating exercise as no one wants to be pointed out when they are surfing now, do they?

lol Stella, no, that isn't it.

reynard, I hope they don't pay much for the software that does that, because the cities they come up with don't even sound like the one I'm in.

I thought this was about the football player that the Cowboys drafted from IUP!  Be nice to him, Level!

LOL Katy....

Do they really play football there? Is it even a real college, and not some online school?

http://tribune-democrat.com/sports/x563632651/Cowboys-draft-IUP-defensive-back

His name is Akwasi Owusu-Ansah... hmmmmm.

He did supposedly score 5 TDs on kick returns.

FR

My homepage is Google, it lods fast even on a 14.4K. Everyday I type in cleveland oh, and weather is right there in the dropdown, I click on that and can see the outside temp, and expected temp and if it is expected to rain. How much more would I need ?

But with damnear everything blocked on this PC I get browser messages at the top sometimes, indicating that I need this or that. And then Google wants to know my location. Now look you stupid MF, every fucking day I do this, get the outside temp and basic forecast. No way in hell, with the IP chain and everything plus the fact that I do this every day, that they could not know my location. Bullshit, I ain't that stupid and if I ever am, shoot me.

It's like the census, they already have the information, they just want to know how compliant and stupid we are as of this month.

BTW, I will mention that I am playing with a scammer now. I will not start a thread because he might read it. I will not report it right away either, I want to see what happens next. I am taking the position "I am not stupid, but I could do this for 10%". He is not likely to find it buried in this thread. But when it all comes to a head, I'll be in here to tell about it. Just waiting for that next mail now.

Some people thought Einstein to be an idiot. BOOM.

Yep, it is actually a real school, with a campus currently undergoing major renovations.

I run a campus for slaves right outside of Merrillville, Indiana. Upon graduation they are sold for $800.00 a piece.

All of those subs that receive a diploma are immediately sent off to the Domiguy chop shop and sold off for their parts.

But the Oakland Raiders DID draft Bruce Campbell!  That guy has a CHAINSAW for a HAND!  I might actually have to watch some football this year.

Not THAT Bruce Campbell, Aylee! This one is big enough to not need one, though:

This pic is one of him looking for his arm... wait, he has both...
