There is an enormous difference between book smarts and useful intelligence. Dubya has the former not the latter.

I'd say the opposite - he wasn't much of a scholar but he channelled patriotism like a pro after 9/11, got re-elected in the middle of a financial depression, and really only made enemies of people who never voted for him to begin with. I'll have to disagree with you. On paper, Bush is intelligent. He can regurgitate facts from books and pass tests. In reality, he is a useless buffoon. It was others who got him elected and reelected. It was those behind the throne who wrote the words to channel patriotism. He was the little nerdy kid that they conned into eating worms on the playground.

The sourced article mocks CNN's estimate, but the Tea Party speakers didn't have a problem with CNN: "There were a few signs that could be seen as offensive to African-Americans. They want to get rid of Harry Reid to elect a dingbat Republican woman who thinks the way to fix healthcare is to pay doctors by bartering. She wants people to pay their doctor with chickens or vegetables! Ridiculous.

I wasnt aware that ignorance had a nationality, it doesnt have a political point of view either. Up on my pedestal, I dont look up...I have nostrils and dont like being waterboarded by mother nature...looking down is far preferable Of course if I was perfect I would have a bloody umbrella up here with me
