I found out a week ago that they are making a third Predator movie.
They're calling it Predators because they're clever like that.

Aaand so. Adrien Brody is the lead.
How do you feel about that?

You can see the trailer on IMDB.

I'll keep my thoughts to myself for a bit.
All I know is I feel sorry for the man in the three piece suit.

The first movie was very good.

The second movie had its moments.

A third movie? I hope it will not conform to the declining trend.

It caught me unawares, Predators.
I'm a big Pred fan I was shocked I hadn't heard anything.

Am I alone in this matter?

I just want to say how happy I am that this is a thread about a movie and not a "warning me about people on the internet" thread.

As far as the third movie goes. . . well, it is unlikely that the third will do as well as the first two, but will still rake in money at the box office off of the name alone. So if you have some money to invest in it, I would say "Go For It."

In spite of his acting ability, I really don't see how Adrian Brodey is going to manage
to kill a predator. I dunno, I really don't see it.
Not saying it won't be good.

Uhhh....not that I am counting....but this would be the 5TH predator movie

The original with Schwarzenegger
The second with Danny Glover
The third was AVP
The fourth was AVP: Requiem

The very title of those last two examples are problematic to your argument.

The Alien Vs Predator series are all technically comic book movies...which are based on the separate franchises, but not official continuations of their story lines.
I mean, if there were five Predators...then you'd have to say there are six Alien movies.
I'm a purist like that.

Off topic, but I think one of the best "multiples on the theme" is the American Pie series. 2 was a bit off, but 3 was hilarious, as was Band Camp. Hard to keep the energy going when you get past #3 though.

The original Ghetto Bitches was by far the best of the series.....Although Ghetto Bitches 3 tried it's best to recapture the magic of the original It just sort of fell flat. I thought Nina was just not that compelling as a pimped out crack ho.

I did have the pleasure of viewing Ghetto Bitches 5.

Caramel once again took the helm as she reprised the role of that insatiable cock sucking, black whore Tameka.

I found her performance to be so authentic and riveting that I actually found myself yelling at the screen, pleading for Tameka not to go down that alley to help that white dude look for his missing stash.

He really fucked the shit out of that bitch. Cleaned off her ass with a dead rat. I was emotionally drained.

Wow.

The Ghetto Bitches series really is the epitome of movie making magic.

I was shocked when the got Tobey Maguire for the 5th one though.
