Oh, don't get me wrong... she is a Hollywood icon. What baffles me is that we talk about her private life. I think it's symptomatic of the sickness of the celebrity culture that Liz Taylor's living arrangements are making the news. I know someone who's supposed to be educated but whose main points of reference are Dr Phil, Oprah, US Weekly and People magazine. That chick has wasted her intelligence on that sort of crap, and now she's too old to get out of it. Anyway... mustn't make oblique references to real people lol. There's a cultural sickness out there that needs to be addressed. That is all.
