Thanks HC. I am a little miffed to wake up to a grey day. We had brilliant sunshine and spring weather all week and it felt like spring... but today isn't such a glorious first day of spring...

Only another 15 minutes til spring.

It is a grey day with a chill in the air. I woke up thinking spring can be a bit of a rip off with winter weather encroaching all over it.

I do love spring.

This has been one of the mildest unsnowy (or unsnowny for Jeff) winter in ages. Last year it was ridonkulous how much snow we had.

I know yalls in the south got it real bad. Washington and all. As though my young childhood dreams came true when people went to Florida for March break but not us, way too poor. And the kids would come back bragging and eating Florida oranges and I logically thought it out; winter ought to rotate, we get to grow oranges and Florida gets to be too cold to.

I didnt exactly mean global warming though. Although I admit I prefer that over global freezing.

We have had gorgeous weather in the past week, then today, down to 3c and snow falling!
not settling  but stilll
mind you we have had a mild mild winter compared to the rest of the continent

The trees are blooming here in Myrtle Beach, the great white and blue herons and geese are flying all over the place and I heard a LAWNMOWER out back yesterday!

Spring has sprung here. The first daffodils and yellow mustard flowers came out a few weeks ago. The hillsides are green and my next door neighbor is back working in the yard on the weekends.
