How do I make a god damn picture fit for an avatar?

I don't know. I've tried it with several different photos but they tell me the size is too big, or some such shit about resolution, or something. I gave up.

I'd have to look again to be sure of the sizing, but I think it is 149 x 149 pixels. Once you adjust whatever image you want within those parameters, it will work. Edited to add the correct sizing parameters: 145x145 pixels. Of course if it's a rectangular image, it can be 125x145 or simliar. Just make sure nothing is over 145 pixels.

Do you have a photo editing software program? I use PhotoShop. If you have PhotoShop I can give you step by step instructions.

Try freeware like FastStone. I used it to create my Avatar photo and CollarChat profile pic. It's free and it works.
