hi i have posted on the introduce thread regarding a key holder i have some questions i would like to ask the   mistress's here.  key holding on line  doe's it work
is there anyone who has experiance with this who could share
good and bad.
i have toyed with this idea for sometime just trying to gather information to help
me proceed in my search for a key holder /mistress

It is totally unsafe to for anyone to not be able to get out of a restraint at a minutes notice.

Using Plastic Locks with serial numbers and being on cam so the Dominant can record the serial number as you lock it on it a great safer way than mailing the keys as the lock can be removed in an emergency.

A week before i met one dominant in person I was locked up that way and it had the same effect as mailing keys

The important factor of the above post is that he actually went to meet the person face to face.

There may be some Dominas interested in doing the online keyholder thing, but if using a steel lock, you are putting yourself in serious risk. Most of the Ladies I know wouldn't be interested in an online type situation that you describe.

hi thanks for the reply's the thing is i am new to chastity and the time i spend locked in my device
is determined by me.
i don't think i would lock it and send the key to a mistress not knowing when or if i would see it again.
however i do need a mistress who would tell me when to lock and stay locked until she decided i could unlock.
i feel this could work on trust ( at least at first )
i know i could cheat but what would be the point of submitting .

Hi.

Keyholding and chastity works if both people are serious and honest. Sincerity goes a long way, even long distance. So put your heart and soul into it and hope the Mistress does too.

If you're going to use a steel lock buy some bolt cutters and leave them where they're easily accessible. Chastity devices aren't dangerous as long as you take a good long time to experiment with the fit, which means keeping the key on hand at all times for a while. Once you find you can get through a day or two without having to remove the device to adjust it, or take a break because of soreness or other problems...then extend the time a little. If the fit is correct the only time you'll absolutely need the key is for a medical emergency.

But that's where the bolt cutters come in. And really, if you do any play with locks / chains you should have these anyway.

I just realized something I forgot to mention. If you do want to do this with a regular lock there are ways to handle having an emergency key. You could even carry it around with you while making it perfectly clear to your keyholder that the key has not been used. You can buy these small plastic cases that once closed can only be opened by shattering them. I forget what they're called but if you do a little looking around online you should be able to find them. Seal the key inside and keep it in a safe place.

An easier alternative is for the keyholder to buy a business card sized envelope. She writes a large signature or other design on both sides, seals the key inside and then laminates the whole envelope. You could carry the key in your pocket, yet if you cut the envelope open the tampering is completely obvious. The numbered plastic locks would be easier than this of course, but some people really prefer the feel of a metal lock.

What is it with subs looking for key holders?  I think I've had dozens of requests for that.

I finally started telling them "Sure!  I'll be your key holder.  I'll just toss your key in the box with all the others and randomly draw one out once a week and mail it to you.  If it doesn't work, mail it back and we'll try a different one."  For some reason, they all stopped asking me to do that.

Any locksmith will tell you that a lock is there to tell you WHEN something has been opened, not to prevent it from being opened.

That is why people don't have elaborate locks on cars - people just break the windows to steal it.

Use this principle.    You just need a mechanism for the Dom to know if the chastity device has been removed, not to prevent it from being removed.

A simple plastic one way tie, like those used by ski resorts to put their ski passes on your jackets work well.  Dom obtains a box of them,  mails you one, you use it to lock the device.   In an emergency, it can be cut with a scissors, but doing so is obvious to the DOM.

hi strongspirit yes the device came with ten numbered plastic locks.
more can be ordered if and when needed.
however i did say this could be achieved on a trust basis.
to unlock without permission would just defeat the object of giving up control ( what i crave )
i would not be true to my mistress or myself.
plus i have got used to the padlock and kind of like the feel of it.

I don't think I will ever accept someone's self label of 'submissive' when all they want to focus on is their sex organs.

There are many ways to do chastity, key holding, and such, OP, but the reality is that a lot of women don't want to think about your penis as much as you do.

i'm not a mistress by any means but i think keyholding from a distance sounds dangerous and a little insane
