LadyOddsworth -> Matchmakers (2/28/2010 11:52:44 AM)

I have been approached by a couple of matchmakers. Domme's who both essentially have the same request. Just meet with this sub to see if he is real and shows up. One asked it be done as a favor. The other promises gifts of jewlery. Okay, this smacks of scam to me, but I can't quite put my finger on it. Anyone else been approached and or know of this type of thing?

I'm not sure I understand your question, so I will try to impart my response to what I think you are asking by relating some of my own experiences around here.

I have had a number of so called (you will understand why I term it this way in a moment) dominant's that have asked me to test or inspect their submissive. They are very willing to give phone numbers and contact information so that I can test their loyalty to their dominant or inspect them as part of some insane part of their relationship. Most of these are men trying to get a bit of attention and they are running both a dominant female profile and a submissive male profile to get what they are looking for. I don't trust it, don't think it is viable or of any worth and quickly block them.

As for matchmaking or services of delivery of submissive's, I have to laugh. I know some are using such services as they are out there, but I wouldn't be using them. Most are scams of some sort in my opinion and a couple I know of are legit, but still not something of worth to me.

I don't know if that answers your actual question or not. lol If not, please explain so I can try. lol

masmiss -> RE: Matchmakers (2/28/2010 1:01:20 PM)

I received a message from a Domme couple (in the UK, no less) telling me that they are in possession of a male slave whose Mistress recently died.  If I was interested they would deliver him to me naked and shackled.

I've been wondering ever since at what point would he be naked and shackled.  Would he board the international flight naked and shackled?   Or would they strip and shackle him in the parking lot of my apartment building?  Hmm.

Domin8tingUrDrmz -> RE: Matchmakers (2/28/2010 1:11:09 PM)

I've had one try to sell me their slave.  Another offer to hook me up with a slave.

I think these 'dommes' are actually men trying to hook themselves up with a domme, or scam your wallet (in the case of selling me a slave).

In any case, human trafficking is illegal - so no, I won't buy a slave, I will report the message instead.  And, why would I want to be hooked up with some slave that another domme doesn't want?  I don't do sloppy seconds, no thanks, I'll find my own.

Madame4a -> RE: Matchmakers (2/28/2010 1:18:43 PM)

I get that stuff all the time... I ignore it and then I usually block the originally sender.  I think its a scam and I'm not interested if it isn't.

LadyAngelika -> RE: Matchmakers (2/28/2010 2:44:37 PM)

I've had the same requests and have ignored them. Even if it wasn't a scam (which it quite likely is), that approach would not interest me in the least.

Horny submissive makes fake domme profile. Horny submissive cons someone into meeting him who wouldn't meet with him otherwise.

Sorry-English expression. I wasn't implying he was a child-'our kid <insertnamehere>' denotes someone you are both familiar with.

I think it comes from 'our kid brother', but it doesn't actually mean you're related to the person, or that they are younger than you-it's an informal and slightly silly way of referring to someone.

I'm kinda sleepy, and I forgot to edit out the English-ism; sorry, SimplyMichael :-(

PrincessDonna -> RE: Matchmakers (2/28/2010 3:59:33 PM)

I have recently had messages from so called Dommes in other countries saying they are moving and promised their sub good placements before moving and they had read my profile and thought I'd be a good fit,that the sub spoke good english and had promised the sub that the Domme they chose would not work them to death or rent them out.therefore I would have to show proff of income of $40,000 or more ayear.Selani has been overseas in her young life and knew what it was right away,you have to make at least 40k to sponser someone from another and we think we are ina recession!

Andalusite -> RE: Matchmakers (3/1/2010 7:26:19 PM)

If I'd already talked with the Domme in question, it might make sense, but a random contact does seem weird. If I were planning to attend a munch or some such already, I might mention I'm planning to be there, and he can introduce himself (and I could e-mail her to confirm). I wouldn't go out of my way for it, though.

Domin8tingUrDrmz -> RE: Matchmakers (3/1/2010 8:05:48 PM)

Just earlier today, I had a random red name appear in my inbox.  When I opened it, it was 'supposedly a Domina' trying to find a Domme for her male cousin.  Later this afternoon, when I looked in my inbox again - that name that WAS red, is now light blue...lol.  Just as I had thought, a boy seeking for himself by using deceptive tactics. [:'(]

Lockit -> RE: Matchmakers (3/1/2010 8:38:11 PM)

I got that same email last week. lol But after my response I didn't get the blue!

Domin8tingUrDrmz -> RE: Matchmakers (3/1/2010 8:54:08 PM)

Oh he didn't write back again.  I just didn't delete the message from the 'red' just yet, and happened to notice that the color changed.  So, I re-opened the message, just to make sure I wasn't going batty. Same message, new picture (of a guy) and new color (light blue)...lol.  When I originally read the message, the picture was of a young woman (or perhaps him ala femme, dunno), and the name was in red.

Funny how the same message changed.

Lockit -> RE: Matchmakers (3/1/2010 9:45:12 PM)

Funny how that happens. lol I had one that switched and wouldn't admit it for anything! I gave him a chance to admit he first emailed me as a dominant, but no, he had to lie. Needless to say, it didn't do him well!
