I wouldn't write "fat stupid whore" on a thin intelligent sub (if any actually existed) just to insult her. The truer the statements, the more humiliating it is. That is not to say there isn't a balance between degrading and erotic embarasment as you bring up... but I don't think the line is as clear as you believe.
