Ok, so I want to say straight off the bat that I'm not advocating or even discussing any system-wide change in how people identify themselves or the people they partner up with.
That being said, some of you know that I do a lot of esoteric work, including divination. I have a student here who is learning basic divination, and while I was teaching hir the Tarot this morning, I had what I thought was an interesting juxtaposition of ideas -- one that I plan to implement myself...
See, when doing energy work, people talk about the flow of energy between the -dominant- hand (or dominant side) and the receptive hand or receptive side... I thought about that in terms of the way I manage my household, what I'm seeking in those who come to serve, and I've determined that THAT, exactly, is what I'm looking for... I am looking for a person with a -receptive- nature to complement my -dominant- nature...
Anyway, just had to share.
