I didn't think he was condescending. He just asked about her knowledge of English and she went into the story. Did people see the Canade/Slovakia game last night? I really thought the Slovaks had tied it up that last minute until the replay showed it hit the post.

Ok ... since i don't know quite who i am responding to ... I will say this: read the paper at lunch today. The Canadians are absolutely right ... they LEAD in Gold medals ... as of Sat morning. Of course they are the first gold medals they EVER won on their home turf ... but who is counting amoung freinds. <chuckles> The USA leads in overall medals ... our best showing for overall medals in Winter Olympics history .... And tomorrow afternoon ... We, in the USA ... get to add our ninth gold ... while we swill ... MILLER beer ... ROFL Good luck Canada ... some of the nearby neighbors manage Your Team ... BUT ... I am a Spartan ... and we drink MILLER beer! LOL

Oh, yes, it will be kind of like beating up some Wolverines and making Buckeye pie … ROFL … Dear God ... I only wish .... we haven't been that good since 1966 ..... ------------------------ That said ... i wish to add .... i did not think the CA Ladies needed to say anything ... apologizing for a celebration? No way! Hell, i have edited this out two or three times ... Something we, in Detroit, are rather renounded for ... in the States ... is BURNING a city down! Pictures of Police cars in flames ... still haunt ... and the pics are from 1984! And all over winning the World Series ... All we did here .. was burn one police car ... with the cops laughing and joining in! So i was charmed by the civil, Canadian manner ... <big smiles> And thought the celebration was in good taste ...
