you can also use wood ash or cigar ash to help with keloid scarring 
I used cigar ash the first time and it burns like hell the wood ash is not as painful in my opinion
do a google search on the topic there was some info on how to get the cutting to raise the scars a pretty extensive process daily care of cleaning and removing the scab and and re applying the ash
but the person that taught me how to do cutting basically said to treat it like $hit lol or keep it irritated during the healing process

Thanks to all for the answers about scarring.  Master sometimes takes his bowie knife to me and carves (okay it's more like scrapes but carving sounds so dramatic, lol lol)  letters or messages (heh). He has drawn blood, and the duration of the scar has lasted anywhere from a couple of weeks to about 4 months.  One lasted 8-10 months. 

i didn't know if this process you spoke of had any sort of permanency.  It is fascinating to me.

I think Man has those pics, but you can send them along anyway :).

Me personally I would love to go deeper and then ink it, however I don't get a vote *chuckles*. We definately have to get together it has been far to long.

I think we are suppose to give a demo up Albany way....either way we have to get up thata way so we can all sit around talking about the good old days LOL because it has been far to long.:)
