I was having a conversation the other night about
cats and there seeming ability to sense things humans cannot.
Then I saw this story today.

Here is the story

One doctor has written the cat up in The New England Journal of Medicine
and written a book about this cat's ability.

"Dr Dosa first publicised Oscar's gift in an article in the New England Journal of Medicine in 2007. Since then, the cat has gone on to double the number of imminent deaths it has sensed and convinced the geriatrician that it is no fluke."

"In his book, "Making rounds with Oscar: the extraordinary gift of an ordinary cat", Dr Dosa offers no solid scientific explanation for Oscar's behaviour."

If a relative of mine ever goes into that home, I'm killing that cat.

They are a harbinger of death.  Those fuckers will steal a baby's breath and produce an endless parade of cancer causing dander.

It's time Detroit and the government develop a car that can run on those fuckers.

My cat is sitting on the back of the sofa, just.....staring at me.

....Gee.  One could have a ball taken out life insurance policies- based on what the cat does.

I'd hate if I brought a relative into that place, and the fucking cat started following ME around...

Cats are weird. Even though I came home to find my dumbass dog running loose, covered in mud, I was happier to see her than the cat.

Interesting article, and I agree some animals have the ability to sense things we humans don't. But it isn't just cats, dogs to have that gift we hear about it all the time in the news. And those of us who have pets actually see it quite often how they know when we aren't feeling well,or are sad, happy whatever. The book sounds like an interesting read as well thanx.

Are the patients nearing death wearing catnip sachets?

in much the same subject, My Grandad was psychic and knew when he was going to die, he knew the exact date, time and place, the Judge told him.

Joke all U want but....Wow. Wow! I just find this amazing. Truly. I'm touched in fact. And in a good way. I love my animals and love to have them near me. I think this is a good thing. Not some joke. Sorry. As a person with a demented family member whose dogs are her best friends, I really feel touched by this. I'm hoping and praying when its her time, the dogs will be there with her. She lives at home. Thank you for posting.
