What do we need to do as a group of "Sane, Respectful, Personal, Lifestyle" ADULTS, to get rid of these "PLAYERS" with in our REALM. Our site here at CM is being over ran by "wannabes, game players, pictures stealers, etc..." As a group, we need to continue to roam the site and find the people responsible for these actions and report them to CM Staff. They will take the appropriate actions needed to permanetly remove these people from the site. If you are here to learn, search respectfully, chat with friends, etc... do some roaming outside of your area and you will be amazed at the amount of sites that show the same picture of one from another area. Identity theft is even here at CM. Game Players are here stealing your information as using it to draw attention to their phony selfs. Let's get them removed and start enjoying the site for what it was designed for.... Thanks for Your Concerns SirK

Have you joined in any of the local groups likes Beats Me or MSDB to meet people? Internet sites are 'a' source but, by no means the best source to meet others. Generally speaking, networking, event attendance and other 'real' life activities will garner you much more success than the Internet. Feel free to write me on the other side. This seems to be one of those topics we discuss weekly, My question never gets answered---who is going to define "player"--and so disgruntled after only a week? Welcome to the real world---sadly--but welcome to the boards.

First off, welcome to the boards STTS, but I fear your quest will not be fulfilled. Yes, there are players here as there are in real life, but I don't see where there is a universal cure for the infliction. The message boards help, as you can get somewhat of a feel for a person by reading their posts, examining their viewpoints and seeing if they contradict themselves, but again, nothing is conclusive. I suggest you just weed out the obvious players and fakes, as we all have had to do and let the cream rise to the top. Short of requiring some sort of verification, which I am sure could also be circumvented, it's still going to be us against them. In time, most of the "unreal" get bored with their little game and their nic will turn black, verifying they have deleted their profile. Of course many of "those" delete, only to return under an entirely new identity.

Having met plenty of people both through the internet and offline, I haven't found the process to be all that different. You take it a step at a time, and when you find out someone is full of it, whether its the first interaction or the 4th date, you wave buh bye.

Hmmmm; the road to hell WAS paved with good intentions, not IS paved. Very interesting. I was boning this cutie in the parts department for awhile and found out she's the bosses daughter. I got pissed "You lied to me, I should slap the shit out of you". She said "You are SOOOO fired". We looked at each other and I said "Hey, you're not my boss anymore". She smiled and I took her again right there up against the wall. Now I live in the west wing of this big mansion and drive this really cool car I can't even pronounce (I'm told). I'm now in management and go to work high every day. I actually stay straight on the weekends to take a break. What do we do at work ? I'm told we make fighter jets. I've been at it a week now and I have a six week paid vacation. It'll be nice to be straight for all that time, oh, except for those three or four company parties. Then it's back to the grind. T

However if you go that route, how long before someone who you have labled a 'player' turns around and throws the accusation in your direction? You maybe turn someone down because of a lack of spark... but what happens if they handle rejection badly? You have them and their friends all pointing fingers and knowing none of the people involved, who are the rest of the members to believe? Nope, it is all just so much easier if no-one starts throwing accusations around in the first place, it gets too nasty too fast and no-one comes out smelling of roses, regardless of if you are actualy in the right or not. Just accept that this is the internet and don't take anything at face value till you can varify it in real life. The net is simply one string to your bow and one with easy to spot drawbacks (Not that folks can't lie through other mediums too!) adjust, enjoy it for what it is and there is always the chance that you'll find someone who ISN'T a 'player'
