Dear Ladies, Gentlemen, M types, D types, and s types of CM,

For those who are not interested in the personal updates in the lives of other forum regulars, please feel free to pass this post by.  This has not been My personal experience in My time here on CM.  With this in mind, I am creating this post.

Many here have been exceptionally supportive of clip's military service.  It is My great pleasure to tell you that his deployment is now over.  As of this writing, he is officially in the air on his way home.  On behalf of Myself and My slave, I would like to thank you for all of your support that has helped us in this separation, which will soon be coming to a close.

Unfortunately, this event has been overshadowed by another.  Late last evening, MisterP's father lost his battle with cancer and has passed away.

Regards In Kink,

Lady Pact

How sad that the joy of homecoming be made bittersweet with the passing of a loved one. I wish you and yours all the best.

Just for the heck of it, here are two of my favorite homecoming clips:

We have not directly addressed each other but I have followed some of your posts and have always found your writings to be well balanced and thoughtful.
The term bittersweet has been used a couple of times and seems to best sum up your present situation. May the joy grow long after the loss has diminished.

I really am sorry to hear of the loss of MrP's father. My thought's will be with you all and wishing for some comfort for you all.

I can't imagine the sorrow and yet the joy in knowing that clip is on his way home... safe and done with this part of his service. Our family here, that I am new to, just went through a death and a birth on the same day, but I can't imagine the depth of the two together as I wasn't as close.

Thank you to all of you... for your part in the service of two men and their family's and loved one's... it is a sacrifice that you all take part in. And thank you Lady Pact for sharing!

LadyPact,  I'm so happy to hear the good news of clip's safe return.  I'm sorry to hear it had to be at a time of loss for You and MisterP with the passing of his father.

Best of luck as all of you move forward while keeping memories of those who've past on close to your hearts.

Congrats on clip's return home.  This is wonderful news and I'm sure you're both thrilled.  Well, he may not be so thrilled to return to the Great White Waste after months in the heat and sand.  Please also accept my condolences for your family's loss.  I'll keep you in my thoughts.

Wow, LP, what a rollercoaster of emotions. May strength and peace find you, and may you find the wherewithall to shelter and help heal MrP as he deals with the loss of his dad. I can only think that having your family together again will help you manage this challenging time!

I'm sorry to hear about the passing of MisterP's father to cancer and wish you all find the peace and strength as necessary in these times of grief.

It's great to hear however that clip's deployment is over and that he is on his way back home.
