i would imagine just as you would spot a cheating man. He doesn't give you his home phone, you can only speak to him and see him when he wants you to. He falls in love eith you after two E-mails. He makes demands of you that you know deep down inside are not real. He has a million fantasies of what he wants to do to you, Probably because he has never done them with anyone in real life. i would imagine there is so much more.

First thing you need to do is contact Christies (http://www.christies.com/), either in the U.S. or London.

Then, show provenance....essentially, prove your painting's history.

From there, it'll probably take a few attorneys.....but they'll help you out.

It's what they do.

If Christie's can't assist, try Sotheby's (http://www.sothebys.com/).

Congrats! I know first hand the amount of work and dedication!!

When I got my Master's degree a few years back, my dad asked me if they should all be calling me Mistress. That was way too weird!! :-)
