fast reply- A couple of months ago I was ' kinda' stood up. Had been talking with a Man from CM for a few weeks (email and telephone) and we planned to meet the week after Thanksgiving. He called me daily, sometimes a few times a day and even called from Puerto Rico (which is where he was spending Thanksgiving). Called the morning he was returning to tell me he would call me that night to set up a date for the upcoming week to meet. Hmm. Never called. I called him to make sure he arrived safely but was sent promptly to voicemail. Emailed him here on CM, which he read (basically I just said hope all is well) and thats the end of that. His loss :-) Laura

Back when I was interested in meeting someone, I'd given a couple men my phone number, but they never called. They'd show up irregulary, want to chat online, but never did get around to wanting to meet. Whether it is fear of diminishing the fantasy, or dishonesty about their lives that prevent them - I wouldn't hazard a guess. Probably should have asked, but that sort of inconsistency isn't anything I care to deal with. I've also talked on the phone with a few, but never could nail down a commitment to meet in person. It isn't being stood up, but I wonder if any of them had made a date with me, if they would have kept it. WinD

I would imagine that Dommes get stood up all of the time. I would aslo think that if you be cooler than the other side of the pillow that you really have no worries of such thangs.

It never happened to me. Maybe the reason is that i normally have had a longer contact with the person or it is a very spontaneous meeting, because we are in the same city and like to meet quick.
