So, if you ever had your picture taken with a politicain who later becomes president, that president has no right to complain if you show up at a state dinner uninvited?
do you have any idea how easy it is to get your picture taken with a congress member? it happens at road side campaigning booths, at parades, at tours of the congress.

Some secret service members are having their careers drawn into quesiton because they were asleep on the job, and proving that a publicity photo was once taken, long ago, with the president, does not change that.

While I totally agree with you tsatske, some people will never stop trying to prove the unprovable or looking for conspiracy theories to make their point.

ETA: It doesn't make any difference whether you like the president or not. People will continue to try to find ways to show he is a communist, could not legally run for president, his agenda is to annhililate this country, blah, blah blah and on and on and on. It is ridiculous and about the only thing it does is the same thing it does to anyone who insists on spreading foul gossip and rumors about someone. It makes the person spreading the information look ignorant and foolish.

Also note that almost half the people in the pic are to the left of Obama, disproving conservative claims that he's about as left as you can go.  [:D]

Oh this is nothing. We have numerous pictures of Obama with Gov. Blogeveich who tried to sell his Senate seat, even though Obama claimed he didn't know him personally, and never met him. I'll try to find those pictures.

I've had pics taken with senators, congressmen and celebrities. I'm betting they'd say they don't know me as well since well...they don't.

If you are a politican, having your picture taken with another politican, a person at a parade, the owner of the resteraunt you stoped to eat at, Ma and Pa from your state when they make a pilgramage to the senate and request a photo op, a cute weather girl at the state fair, the daughter of the mayor of a state you've never been to, the valavactorian of a small town high school where you were asked to give commencment, the dean of a small college who made a simular request, a police office at a church supper you stopped to speak at, a tour bus driver, ... and about a million other people, all happen in the same week. It does not qualify as 'knowing' someone. so many people pass through most politicans lives, that they probably have 'known' several people in the biblical sense, and still couldn't put a name to their face.

How dare these people accuse the president of not holding to a standard of truth they themselves could never possibly hope to maintain?

I THINK IT IS REMARKABLE THAT THE PRESS CAN FIND EVERY WOMAN WITH WHOM TIGER WOODS HAS HAD AN AFFAIR WITH IN THE LAST FEW YEARS, WITH PHOTOS, TEXT MESSAGES, RECORDED PHONE CALLS, ETC.
THEY KNOW NOT ONLY THE CAUSE OF THE FAMILY FIGHT, BUT THEY EVEN KNOW IT WAS A WEDGE FROM HIS GOLF BAG THAT SHE USED TO BREAK OUT THE WINDOWS IN THE ESCALADE. NOT ONLY THAT, THEY KNOW WHICH WEDGE!!!
THIS IS THE SAME PRESS (OR IS IT?) THAT CANNOT LOCATE OBAMA’S BIRTH CERTIFICATE … OR ANY OF HIS PAPERS WHILE IN COLLEGE.
TRULY REMARKABLE.

Which means WHAT exactly? That because she had a picture taken in the past with our current president, she had a bonifide invitation to the party? That the Secret Service people are now being used as scapegoats because they took the couple at their word instead of checking the way they were supposed to?

I wonder how much longer it will take before people realize this guy will say anything to get elected as McCain said, and he will say anything to deny any association with corrupt politicians? Next to his questionable natural born citizenship that he believes he doesn't have to prove, and his supposed Christian faith, the biggest lie of all is his claim that he will at least renegotiate NAFTA, which to me, was the lie that got him elected. If Congress does take up this issue, you can better believe there won't be any significant changes that keep jobs from moving south of the border. It will be all smoke and mirrors.
